Why I dislike the future tech genre.

The future tech genre is just repetitive and banal due to every nation in the genre wanting to be a edgy, xenophobic, nation and have big, star sized lasers that blow up entire planets or have ships that are the size of entire solar systems. And at this point it seems like every nation who is this genre is trying so hard to be a galactic empire ripoff that it’s no longer funny. They even go so far to have the average cliche mysterious, immortal leader with magical abilities that can fight entire armies or can never be hurt by anything. Also their tech is not even realistic or it doesn’t abide by the laws of physics which makes their nations seem more unrealistic or fathomable.
This genre is also the one with the most god modders who say they have “500 quintillion population” or “900 million WMDs”.
And most if not all future tech nations are like this and it makes rping with them incredibly annoying. Especially when their armies cannot be damage or out maneuvered in anyway.
I also dislike the toxicity present within the genre because when two future tech god modders go to war with each other they both complain about how they can damage their opponents nation. Then it all gets voided anyway making the entire war pointless.
Anyways that’s my rant bye.
