Peruvian Congress 1999 - 2005

Party Descriptions

- National Greatness Party (Far Right): High social conservatism, drawing inspiration mostly form the bible. Advocates for increased military spending, a strong and authoritative government, yet an open and mostly unregulated market with high investments from other nations. Despite its militaristic tone, the Nationalists also advocate for the perseverance of South-American culture and creation of a "Pan-Latin American" Identity.

- The Carsonist Pact (Far Left): High social progressivism, based off the Russian form of Carsonism. They advocate for high military spending and the spread of the revolution across South America. They believe in the nationalization of most markets in Peru, with the wealth to be re-distributed to the poor.

- The New Union Front (Libertarian): Advocates for a de-centralization of the Peruvian government, specifically by giving the provinces more power in the Republic's government, allowing them to create their own independent laws and departments.

- The Democratic Alliance (Center Left): Advocates for a general social progressivism, the expansion of government economic regulations to stop the destruction of the environment. Believes in a strong, yet small military to defend Peru. Like the Nationalists, the Democrats advocate for the creation of a "Pan-Latin American" Identity.
