The Update Update
TITO had plenty of mini-camping trips in March. With a total of 11 defenses, 6 liberations, 7 detags, and 1 chase run, TITO spent most of the month deep-cleaning regions of raider puppets, providing precautionary support to embassy regions, and assisting in The South Pacific’s delegate transition. This meant we spent the last couple weeks of the month switching between the same two or three regions during every update. Luckily TITO members were able to remember which puppet was in which region, which made switching a breeze and left plenty of time for update channel chatter!

Monthly Memes
TITO members had fun teasing one another this month, with plenty of playful jabs to go around.

TITO Question of the Month
We sought to resolve an age-old question in March. How is “TITO” pronounced? 19 TITO Members said it was pronounced “tee-toe”, 6 said it was pronounced “tie-toe”, and 1 said they pronounced it completely differently. Let’s get some insight from the different sides:

On the “tee-toe” team, Wischland said: “It just sounds better with the contrasting “ee” and “oh” sounds. Rolls off the tongue that way.”

Another “tee-toe”-er, Control argued: “The Spanish/Italian/etc. name Tito is pronounced "tee-toe", so I pronounce TITO the same way”

HN67, who says “tie-toe” said: “Just the way I first read it; probably cause I split into two distinct syllables.”

Finally, Kanta Hame pronounces TITO completely differently, saying "tit-oh", on the grounds that “we don’t need those pronouncement thinggies in here [Finland] since every single word is pronounced as its written and i never learned pronounce individual letters, just memorized how the word should be said”
