50 rioters have attempted to storm the presidential palace today in protest of yesterday’s election results. Federal Protection service agents quickly apprehended them and placed them under arrest. Only one rioter was killed after they attempted to reach for an agents weapon. The president released a statement later in the day thanking his security team and condemning the rioters as a detriment to democracy.protests have gripped the nation since the president put forward a referendum which extended his current term.
