Daniel Werner Found Dead Last Night: GSPL-5 Radio Transcript

Shocking news from the Detroit Warrens this morning, as military industry titan Daniel Werner was found with three bullets to the head this morning. The reclusive billionaire's corpse was discovered by his wife, Pradhi Werner, who immediately called the police. She claims to have been at her father's, an alibi which has been confirmed by the father in question. Nevertheless, she is a prime suspect, as the Werner estate has several security measures which grant access to a very strict selection of people.
[Alexander Hallock]
A tragedy to be sure. So, what does this mean for the larger population? Well, while Daniel Werner was friendly towards the IH politically, his next-of-kin, Castiel Werner II, is a born-again convert to the Church. The question remains if the IH can stop quarreling long enough to put financial backing behind a singular nominee, or whether the Church will become the only dominant political party.
[Sarah Reynolds]
It's always political to you, isn't it, Alex?
[Alexander Hallock]
Well, Sarah, I'm a political analyst who happens to like military strategy. What else would you expect?
[Sarah Reynolds]
Fair point. So, Alex, you've said that you happen to like military strategy. Any chance the death of this military tycoon will affect that?
[Alexander Hallock]
Actually, no. It's pretty counterintuitive, I know, but our military still works even without its head. It's like those deer you find out in the Radiant Arc that way.
[Sarah Reynolds]
Well, those deer have a second head, don't they? Hidden away, you know.
[Alexander Hallock]
So do we. Castiel Werner. He'll pick up where his father left off, and I imagine that under Daniel Werner's training, he will do well.
[Sarah Reynolds]
