LoPN Equipment

Welcome

This factbook details the weapons, vehicles, and other equipment used by the League of Prosperous Nations. With an emphasis on cooperation within LoPN, instead of just one manufacturing giant making them all, each nation contributes to each category - for example, Tertania develops LoPN's ships and The destroyers of christianity manufacture small arms and light weapons. Each category is manufactured by one or more companies from the host nation, although they may invite another nation's company to assist in production of the product. Although nations can solely buy from LoPN's equipment catalogue, many still manufacture their own weapons for their defence forces.

LoPN Explanation

The League of Prosperous Nations was founded on the 19/12/20, with founding members New England INC and The destroyers of christianity working together to form the league. LOPN is looking for members of either high economic power or high military power this also includes high industry powers, if nations are hesitant in joining the league under the bounds of being tied up in a defensive pact, then LOPN also offers an associate program instead which only provides the trade end of the deal if you're worthy of trading with in the first place. If you're interested in joining the League of Prosperous Nations then either telegram founding members New England INC or The Destroyers of Christianity.

The League was created as a response to rising alliances popping up within the Confederation and with possible large scale conflicts approaching, the league is working towards ways to profit off these conflicts and expand all members economic/military repertoire. LOPN comprises mainly of capitalist/corporate nations that have allied together to ensure total upmost profit from such a pact through international trading agreements and joint military operations.

The League will aid sworn in members in matters regarding economic and militaristic profit if the League decides the venture is worthy of being pursued. To clarify, LOPN will provide League members with economic and military support if they were the defending party within a war. However, on matters of League members being the offender in a war, then it must be agreed upon within the League, if the war is worthy enough to assist League members in.

Upon joining the League, nations agree upon non-aggression pacts with other member/associate nations of the League and will be met with strict punishment if they were to be in violation of said agreement. Fully sworn in members of the League will also agree upon the terms of a defensive pact with other League members and will be called to war in the event of a League members being attacked. Associate members of the League will only come under the trade agreement part of the League and will only be involved with trading, associate members of the League will not be protected if they were to be attacked unless they agree to join the League fully.

Type: Main battle tank
Engine: Djinn AGC1150B
Max. Speed: 64 km/h on-road, 42 km/h off-road
Crew: 4 (commander, gunner, driver, loader)
Manufacturers: Ozahr and Eforn (Roof-mounted MG, The destroyers of christianity), Royal Industries (Frame, MineLegotipony, Djinn (Engine, East turzikstan), Hellfire Steel Inc. (Armour, Hellslayer), Manufactured by [undisclosed]
Operators: LoPN
Note: After locking the top engineers of competing LoPN arms manufacturers in a room for several months, they came out with a design for a flagship battle tank with parabolic next generation armour plating, AI guided targeting systems, VR interface and built in fizzy drink dispensers. This highly anticipated main battle tank would combine the industrial specialties of collaborating companies for an outcome that boasted all of their strong points while mitigating weaknesses. The result was a very expensive (although widely popular) invincible dome that militaries across the continent cleared up the stock of in a matter of days.

Designed: 1997
Produced: 2000-present
Type: Main Assault Tank
Engine: Tiburon GT1600
Max Speed: 98kmh on road, 76kmh off road
Crew: 3 (commander, driver, gunner/loader)
Manufacturer/s: Zabur Automotive (Feuraxia), several small scale knock off manufacturers in developing countries
Operators: LoPN
Note: As the Republic of Feuraxia descended into mass disorder, militant political factions and multi-billionaire warlords across the region sought out a way to mass produce thousands of cheap tanks in converted school metal workshops and car mechanic garages. Several improvised tanks of varying hilarity were put against each other by rival factions in the late 90s. Eventually, engineers at Bank of Feuraxia owned Zabur Automotive were able to steal different aspects of the steel plated vans with anti-tank missile roof mounts put out by Seig Oofen Heil and Feuraxia Red Fleet. Using their slightly superior industrial position to pump out the first P-45s, they tidal waved the other factions with excessive amounts of crudely bolted steel boxes with tracks.
The P-45 has progressed a long way from its roots in the late 90s and early 2000s, but the concept is still a crappy tank that can be churned out of an economy bombed to smithereens and on the brink of collapse by its enemies.

Designed: 2020
Produced: 2021-present
Type: Self Propelled Artillery
Engine: Humphrey 8v85t
Max Speed: 57km/h (on road), 35km/h (off road)
Crew: 5 (commander, gunner, assistant gunner, driver, targeting technician)
Manufacturer: Diol (Feuraxia)
Operators: LoPN
Notes: Towards the beginning of the Kyrate-Tertania conflict, Generals on the Tertanian side put out an order for a mobile artillery cannon which could move with a rapidly changing front while packing enough of a punch to demolish Kyratean bunkers and military bases with the push of a button. Feuraxian automobile giant Diol bought a patent for the newly released T6000, slightly cheapened the engine, significantly cheapened the armor alloy, and increased the height of the turret to accommodate a bigger gun. The Feuraxian Army bought thousands of T6000-S artillery guns over the course of their involvement in the war, and has no intention to stop buying them for the foreseeable future. However it will not be certain if Diol will be doing the manufacturing and selling of T6000-S models when other LoPN members take an interest in the self propelled artillery market.

Designed: 2020

Designed: 2012
Produced: 2013-present
Type: Infantry Fighting Vehicle
Engine: Titran 440
Max Speed: 91 km/h (on-road), 71 km/h (off-road)
Crew: 3 (Driver, gunner, commander)
Passengers: Up to 7
Manufacturer: Titran (Tertania)
Operators: LoPN
Notes: With the Tertanian Military's vehicles aging back to the late 50s, Tertanian military command put out a request for several brand-new, state-of-the-art vehicles. Titran won the contract over several, nowadays-defunct companies and delivered the FA7 IFV. The FA7 was fast, sleek and most importantly, flexible. Three models were developed: the A1, A2, and A3. The A1 possessed no weaponry, the A2 a singular, roof-mounted HMG, and the A3, a much larger cannon. The military decided that the A2 was right in the "Goldilocks zone" of what they needed, so they put out an order for several thousands of the FA7A2. An A4 version was also considered, which would have had an anti-air weapon, but the prototype was dismissed after the Tertanian military bought into the Feuraxia-made T6000A.

Designed: 2020
Produced: 2021-present
Type: Infantry Fighting Vehicle
Engine: Titran 470AB
Max Speed: 60 km/h (on-road), 43 km/h (off-road), 9 km/h (in water)
Crew: 3 (Driver, gunner, commander)
Passengers: Up to 7
Manufacturer: Titran (Tertania)
Operators: LoPN
Notes: With Tertanian paratroopers suffering heavy losses during missions in the Tertanian-Kyratean War, Airborne Command put in a request for an IFV that was light enough to be air-dropped but still packed a punch. Titran won the contract, and delivered the FA9 IFV. Two different models were made: the A1, which had anti-tank missiles, and the A2, which had a heavy machine gun mounted in-place of the missiles. The Air Force favoured the A2 as its main gun had enough power to disable most Kyratean MBTs and the MG proved useful in taking out much more numerous Kyratean forces. The FA9 is also amphibious, which has proved very useful when crossing rivers.

Designed: 2020
Produced: 2021-present
Type: Assault gun, Armoured fighting vehicle
Engine: Titran 470AB
Max Speed: 62 km/h (on-road), 36 km/h (off-road)
Crew: 3 (Driver, gunner, commander)
Manufacturer: Titran (Tertania)
Operators: LoPN
Notes: As part of the airborne vehicle contract handed out by the Tertanian Air Force, Titran also delivered the FA13 assault gun. While lacking the ability to carry any troops internally, the FA13 possesses a 105mm cannon which could easily destroy the heavier Kyratean MBTs that were encountered by paratroopers. The FA13 was specifically designed to fit in the cargo hold of a T-40 "Sketcher" along with an FA9 IFV which gives the FA13 its unusual appearance. The FA13 has been criticised for its off-road speed, but Titran has said that "it's designed to be that slow - if it was any faster, the gun's stabilisation systems would have trouble."

Note: Supersonic, stealthy, and even carrying several missiles, the SR-91E "Sundance" is the pinnacle of Tertanian engineering. It was designed by the TSDI's "Night Works" division after the Tertanian Military asked for a high-altitude spy plane. It is an experimental design, and has come under scrutiny by military analysts for its balooning costs and much-delayed deliveries. While there have been no actual documented flights of the SR-91E and it is unknown if the military even uses it, it is still on sale to LoPN member states.
