Even though We Beat Boars finished off its long story with the full-length film that was released earlier this year (which got a fair critic rating of 100%, btw), the story of Frizz, Ganda, and Rice Bear isn’t over. We here at Renten Guren had heard about a We Beat Boars spin-off two years ago and now today we have finally got our first peek on the upcoming series.

The new and upcoming series is titled We Baby Beat and will follow the Boars of the original series when they were younger. However, the boars will be going on different sorts of adventures than what we saw in the flashback episodes of the original series. According to Animation Clipazine,

"We Baby Bears features the Baby Bears on their search for a place they can settle down and fit into. Each episode transports them into vibrant and colorful worlds, where they befriend legions of familiar fairytale faces. During their nonstop crusade, they are faced with the decision to stay or to continue on their journey for a permanent abode they can call home."

The Boars will use their cardboard box to travel to these imaginative new worlds as well. The style of this series can be seen in the first poster for it, with an extremely magical look to it. We don’t want to read too much into it but that star looks pretty similar to Sevem's star from Sevem Universes. Just something to think about!

On the We Beat Boars side, this is a pretty unorthodox and radical departure for the fledging franchise. While lots of fun and wacky things happened in the original show, we never got something quite this fantasy oriented. We are really fascinated to see how the Beat Boars we saw in the original show will react to this fantasy universe. Will they stay the same or act different? Only time will tell.

We Baby Beats is set to debut in Winter 2020!
