Senator Mark Andropov of Ruska has announced that he will run for President. In his speech he stated “ today I would like to formally announce my candidacy to run for President of Toquasia. My apparent opponent Senator Hazavsky is running on a campaign Of accelerated militarism. Now I love the military, in fact I served 10 years in our great navy. That doesn’t mean however that we should project an image of fear throughout the world , but one of friendship. If elected I will increase our diplomatic relations with the outside world and bring toquasia into the modern era.” The election will be held next year with the winner replacing incumbent President Dermazev who is constitutionally barred from running for a third term as a president can only serve a maximum of two.
