Fran Advarian Government

The Fran Advarian Government has the form of a Semi-Presidential Republic.

The President is elected by public vote for a term of 5 years. Presidential terms are limited to 2 by the Constitution. Presidential Candidates must be older than forty (40) years of age.

The PM is elected by the National Parliament.

The Cabinet is appointed by the President.
The Ministers must be active MPs before being appointed to that position. (striken per the 2022 constitutional amendment)
The Prime Minister is the Head of the Cabinet and reports directly to the President.

The Ministers are normally appointed by the President, however the Prime Minister can appoint a Minister after the approval of the president.
There are also Deputy Ministers, in charge of former Ministries that were absorbed by another or General Secretariats dependant to Ministries.

Other General Secretariats are led by appointed Civil Servants (just like the Armed Forces have appointed Generals) and are not led by politicians.

No member of the Government has full immunity.
If a Fran Advarian court commences an investigation regarding serious crimes (Murder, Plot against the Government, Corruption et cetera) they will have to stand in trial at an extraordinary court.

In a nutshell, the president chooses the PM(if he hasn't a majority in the National Parliament, he has to choose the leader of the opposition,but can only dismiss the Prime Minister if he/she has a majority in the National Parliament)
and cabinet, but only the parliament may remove them from office with a vote of no confidence. The president does not have the power to directly dismiss the prime minister or cabinet. But the president can dissolve the parliament.
