[size=150][b]Welcome beginners, to the Extended Guide. You have come to the right place to start your journey in
The Pacific.[/b]

Throughout NS, there are various guides, walkthroughs, and similar publications that aim to assist beginners. All are written by experienced members of a community, and thus incorporate their ideology and perceptions. This guide is aimed squarely at Pacificans; that is citizens of [region]the Pacific[/region]. It covers everything that you will need to know in NationStates as a beginner, and more. It will be especially useful to find your way in the New Pacific Order and eventually become a respected Pacifican.

Proceed, Pacifican, and begin your journey![/size][/align]

[box]You may not know much about the game in general - Let me try and help at least with a short introduction:

In NationStates you are the ruler of your own nation. You can change the statistics of your nation by solving Issues. You will get some at regular intervals each day unless you put the nation on vacation mode. In addition, you will receive a Card Pack every so often when you answer issues and can be sold or gifted to others; more on that later.

Furthermore, in NationStates your nation resides within regions. Regions are multinational constructs and alliances, which frequently simulate a regional government to administer the needs of their region and the nations populating the said region.

Game Created Regions, such as the one you were founded in, are created by the game itself and serve necessary functions for the game such as founding new nation's, refounding nations that have ceased to exist, and being the recipient of nations ejected from their regions. Game Created Regions are also known by the acronym "GCR".

[region]The Pacific[/region], [region]The West Pacific[/region], [region]The East Pacific[/region], [region]The South Pacific[/region] and [region]The North Pacific[/region] are GCRs. These five regions are known as "Feeders", which means that new nations will spawn in one of the five randomly upon creation.

[region]Osiris[/region], [region]Balder[/region] and [region]Lazarus[/region] are also GCRs, but they are "Sinkers", which means, those nations that ceased to exist after not logging in for twenty-five or sixty days (also known as CTE), spawn in these regions if the player decides to refound their dead nation.

The Rejected Realms is the last main GCR. Nations that are ejected or banned by the leaders of a region (The Founder, the Delegate, or one of their Regional Officers) will be sent there.

Each of these GCRs has a unique regional government. The Pacific is governed by the New Pacific Order. The New Pacific Order is one of the oldest regional governments in the game. We have been here for more than 15 years in real time, nearly since the beginning of the game itself. We are ruled by the Emperor, who is currently [nation]East_Durthang[/nation].

[b]Please Join the [url=https://www.nationstates.net/page=un]World Assembly[/url] and endorse the Emperor [nation]East_Durthang[/nation], increasing our regional security. [/b]

[b]Please make sure to Read our [url=https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=1132437]Civil Code for Uniform Justice and Order[/url].[/b]

[i]Welcome to our region, Hail The Pacific! Hail the Emperor![/i][/box]
