Diploma of Theology - Course Handbook
The Diploma of Theology is the UCN School of Theologies' premier course, providing students with an strong introduction to biblical study, the church and academic theological study. With a broad range of foundation units, students will study many of the core aspects of christianity enabling them to continue to grow in their faith and become more confident navigating and applying scripture and concepts to theological questions and everyday life.
To receive a Diploma of Theology, students will complete 16 credit points (4 subjects) including 2 foundation units and 2 elective units.
Recognition of Prior Learning & Advanced Standing
Any units completed as part of Single Unit Study & the Certificate of Theology can be fully accredited to your Diploma of Theology.
You can also apply for recognition of prior learning from study and experience outside the UCN School of Theology. Check out The University of NationStates's Recognition of Prior Learning & Advaced Standing Policy by clicking on the 'Policies' tab in the header.
Study Pathways
The Diploma of Theology also serves as a pathway to the Bachelor of Theology. All units form your Diploma of Theology can be fully accredited to the Bachelor of Theology meaning you will have already completed half of the required content.
