Tales of the Provincial Militia

The Southern Igaliaris Militia is special for a few reasons; some include
Every province bearing it's own military being one of them, but many other reasons prove why.

The military composes almost 50% of the population via conscription. While Southern Igaliaris may give rights, it is constitutionally set that every person may see some use in the military, making SI's military power impressively large, while decently trained. It's not uncommon that some towns may run under protection by the military in some provinces, while others may just have your usual police force.

Holstering nearly 103.92~ million (Out of SI's 236.42~ million), meaning nearly a majority of the people serve in the military actively. The rest usually serve the nation more centrally, such as in factories or business, in terms of divisions however;

SI's military has 104 divisions 85 of which are Infantry; 65 of which are owned by the Federal/State, the rest are owned by provinces, 8 are Armored Divisions (All federal), 7 are Garrison divisions (All but one are federal) 4 of which are Airborne. (All federal), due to being a land-locked nation, Southern Igaliaris completely lacks a Naval division, which makes war across an ocean extremely unlikely, which is one of the flaws it's military holsters, if it were to annex some of Igaliaris' land near the coast however, it wouldn't be landlocked anymore, but would have an extremely busy, and extremely militarized port. Although, a majority of the nation is militarized as is.

SI has about 20 bombers, 8 jets, 34 planes, 24 helicopters, 17 cargo/infantry planes under it's Airborne division, some of which are imported, and others which are crafted in SI's homelands; statistically, none of the jets are made by SI, and were bought from a neighboring country in favour of a massive resource-exchange.
-- 114 tanks, 50 of which are light, 31 of which are medium, and the rest are heavy tanks, each one is clocked for it's own individual purpose (Anti-infantry, anti-tank, ect.), it has 30 APCs, and 226 Jeeps/other vehicles, this composes the vehicle composition of SI's military, while it may lack numbers in these fields compared to more prepared, richer nations, it still stands to show that when SI's economy does better, it should see a massive amount of vehicle improvement.

While SI may have an impressively big military, with many divisions, it's military is bound to the same flaws the nation it's self has; Any mass-trade starvation or sanction would render some, if not most of this military unusable, or less well equipped, but in general, most infantry are equipped properly.

(I'll need to do the kit each soldier has later, this is just information on the military - I plan to explain every if not most parts of SI.)
