Hello TSP and welcome to this year's Advent Calendar! Over the next 24 days we'll have a new holiday-themed activity/discussion topic every day, so make sure you check this dispatch regularly to have some fun!
01-December Today's discussion topic is your December bucketlist. This time of year can be busy for everyone, so what do you want to achieve this month? Share your ideas on our Regional Message Board or on the forum thread.

04-December Today we have a winter-themed online game for you! The game is called Snowline and the aim is to draw a path for Santa to pick up presents and make it to the finish of each stage. My productivity today can attest to the fact that this is addictive...
If you finish, please take a screenshot of your score to compare against others'. To start you off, I'll give you my score to beat:
05-December Today is the start of our decorate-a-lampshade competition! Decorate
in any sort of holiday-theme you want. The contest will run until the 25th... probably. And the winner will get their name in the WFE... probably.
06-December Today is our multicultural celebration day! While Advent is a Christian celebration, many other faiths and cultures have celebrations around this time of year. We'd like to hear about the holidays and celebrations of TSPers from around the World!

09-December Today is our Nativity memories day! Did you ever have to take part in a school Nativity play? Did you get a main part, or did you always end up being the rear end of a donkey? Post your experiences on the RMB or in this thread.

15-December Who doesn't love a good discussion about the weather? Wait, what do you mean "anybody who's not British"? Oh well, we're having this discussion anyway!
Christmas, for most of us, is a time of cold weather and short nights; many of us will even get snow. However, there are some people in... *shudders* the South, for whom Christmas falls in the summer. So, here are a few starter questions for this thread.
What sort of weather do you get at Christmas? Is it summer or winter for you? Would you prefer it if it was the other way around? Do you get snow? Love it? Hate it? Wish you got it more often?

19-December Today was a Christmas quiz hosted on the RMB and Discord! Congratulations to our winner Techolandia!
20-December Christmas songs are beloved by all, particularly those who have to listen to them all day, every day throughout December! What I'd like to know is, what's your favourite? By which I mean second favourite of course, since the whole World is in agreement that Fairytale of New York is the best Christmas song.
My second favourite is probably A Spaceman Came Travelling by Chris de Burgh, with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's version of Carol of the Bells up there as well.
On a related note, has anyone survived Whamageddon? Have you managed to make it through December without hearing Last Christmas at all? I lasted 13 days, which is probably above average...

23-December It's New Year's resolution time! The time of year where you half-heartedly decide to do something you don't want to for a couple of months, before giving up.
So, what resolutions do you have planned for next year, and do you think you'll be able to succeed? How did you do with last year's resolutions (if you set any)?
