The SPPP is a part of the Liberal-Democratic Coalition, a multi-party coalition that is comprised of the SPP, the Liberal-Democrat Party (PLD), and the OneNorcria Party. The Organization of Unity and the Parti Libertaire are majority parties, however it is not part of the Liberal-Democratic Coalition. All of these parties comprise of 151 seats. Opposition parties are divided into two categories, the Nationalist Coalition Opposition (NC), and the Non-Coalition Opposition (NNCO). The NC comprises of 146 seats, while the NNCO comprises of 50 seats. The 1950 Constitution states that Council Representatives are able to serve 4 year terms, with no term limits. The assembly sessions are to begin the day after the new year begins (January 2), on every even numbered year; the current National Assembly is the 18th.
