The Republic of Eprathusuti is a gargantuan, orderly nation, ruled by Yonas Zalelew with an iron fist, and remarkable for its deadly medical pandemics, ubiquitous missile silos, and frequent executions. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, devout population of 13.958 billion Eprathusutians are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The medium-sized, corrupt government prioritizes Defense, with Law & Order and Spirituality also on the agenda, while Social Policy and Welfare aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Wadera. The average income tax rate is 26.3%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The very strong Eprathusutian economy, worth a remarkable 1,191 trillion Kinas a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, broadly diversified black market in Retail, Arms Manufacturing, Gambling, and Uranium Mining. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 85,354 Kinas, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.6 times as much as the poorest.

Crossword puzzles have been co-opted as a symbol of racial discrimination, scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway, torture is commonly used to extract information from suspected criminals, and census workers struggle to account for the rapidly increasing number of citizens to tabulate. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Eprathusuti's national animal is the Warthog, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its national religion is Zuwiti.

Eprathusuti is ranked 112,395th in the world and 4th in Viking Europe for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, scoring 1,949.91 on the Henry Ford Productivity Index.
