I'm peaceing with my colonies in Southeast Asia and releasing all of them, on the condition that I get to have full docking and trading rights. Taiwan has been returned to the Qing, Sakhalin has been returned to Japan, and my overseas colonies in the West are all free to go. We're also installing trains all over the country for transportation purposes. I'm also letting the British set up base on Tamla Island.

In terms of economy, the newest (for 1841) factories have been built all over the country. Newspapers in the Korean language have been released, keeping citizens informed of the outside world. Soju breweries have been nationalized, and we are outproducing the Japanese and on par with the Qing. The government's weapon stockpile grows bigger as we have not had a war for three years now. We are researching cavalry divisions, mass infantry maneuvers, powerful gunpowder shells from the Qing, and the recent invention of hot air-balloons.

Living standards in Korea have also been increased. Cities are getting increasingly large, and tall as well. (although tall here is five or so floors.) Dockyards have been massively enlarged in cities such as Busan, Jaemulpo, Wonsan, Sinuiju, Dalian, Dandong, Nakhodka (Nakha in Korean), Vladivostok (Pyojun in Korean), Jindo, Mokpo, Nampo, Ganleung, and Haeju. In the Sancheon, Changchun, Amur, and Kanggye regions of the empire, agriculture and farmland industries have been rapidly developed. In the Far Russian North, Koreanification is currently underway.

Education standards have also improved. Before, the peasants were illiterate and poor. Now, with the educate the masses national focus, education funds and expenses have all been taken by the government, nationalizing the school curriculum, which is designed to give students a fair view of East Asian history, with no bias and / or nationalistic views. Laws have been made public, and recently, a committee of scholars and politicians have reviewed the laws and submitted the outdated or cruel laws to be removed.

The Korean government is currently negotiating the return of Qing items back to the Qing Dynasty and Korean items back to Korea.
