That is interesting. Because a lot of discord/ Offsite chat programs are way livelier than the RMB. Too lively for my taste.

That sounds like a good idea. You are nine minutes late.

My nation has no outbreaks because they do not exist (and also because I'm lying to the International Committee of Health Affairs [ICHA] but they don't know that because I pay them to not know that)

Yep

Hey, fellow Rejects! Please see my Delegate election campaign, The Doolegarchy (named lovingly after my partner's doggo, Dooley), here:

The Doolegarchy

The guiding paw of the Doolegarchy will return Rejecthood to a state of pride. I will guide this region to re-embrace our origins and take pride in our rich foundation of strong and secure governance and democracy for the mistreated and misguided. The Rejected Realms, guided by the principles of Max, upholds an interregional duty to re-educate the misguided as well as help destroy the less desirable nations entering our Realms. Currently, we often find ourselves embarrassed by our more vocal Rejects. We must clamp down on these insufferable souls before it is too late. Over on gameside, we must create an environment that renders the lesser desirables as either amenable or silenced. Investing in Rejects in this way will embrace and upskill the future generations of those who will then go on to grace our Hall of Fame.

Department of Outreach

I will require an Officer of Outreach. Through a well-disciplined Outreach Staff, propaganda will prove the most effective tool in making Rejects more amenable to the Doolegarchy and our wishes. These campaigns will seek to increase (and inform Rejects of) forumside, discordside, and government participation, as well as recruit writers for The Rejected Times, soldiers for the Rejected Realms Army, and increase the uptake of Rejected University enrolments, which in itself will serve to encourage all of the above. And almost needless to say, expect propaganda encouraging nations to endorse the Delegate—we need to grow those numbers again.

Nevertheless, the current gameside state of our Realms is far from ideal. So expect no leniency and complacency under the guiding paw the Doolegarchy—and do not expect this paw to be invisible! If elected, the Regional Message Board will only feature approved speech or else be suppressed. The slippery slope was real and compounding after all!

Okay, fine, expect some leniency but never complacency to the will of the misguided! I favour us not being perceived as incompetent in our moderation over giving the benefit of the doubt to 'free speech' any day of the week. Enjoy your free speech in the freedom of your own space—turn off your WiFi and go to town if you must—but we will no longer subject ourselves to absurd restrictions on our moderation. One warning, if that, and then expect the worst. If you propagate terrible views, expect to be overcome by terror at the paws of the Doolegarchy.

I also challenge whoever will become the Outreach Officer to explore options to reward Cards for services rendered. While I do not intend for this to act as a sort of economy or wage (yuck), we could explore incorporating rewarding Cards into our annual awards or even as a quarterly thank you for endorsing the Delegate for a period of three months.

Department of Foreign Affairs

Now with a flourishing Diplomatic Corps, as long as the Staffers receive some infrequent oversight, I believe this Department to be in one of its strongest shapes in a long time. It is now time to supercharge this energy and excitement by exploring how best we can support the growth of inclusive, democratic, and defender-friendly regions. Our ambassadors form the backbone of how we positively influence how we are perceived interregionally, and this, therefore, means that being an ambassador is one of the most important roles performed by our citizens.

We are in a position where I can expect our Department of Foreign Affairs to be proactive in searching out regions that would be suitable for us to offer our support. Across government and our private bodies, we have many nations packed with highly skilled individuals ready and able to help our values flourish interregionally. Further, under the Doolegarchy, I would like for us to explore expanding our relations with NSLeft and its member regions.

Department of the World Assembly

For the Department of the World Assembly, getting the Partnership for Sovereignty up-and-running alongside maintaining current duties is a task both daunting but worthwhile. I am ready and able to support the respective Officer in finding a sustainable approach to these responsibilities.

In defence of the Security Council Bloc of which the current government is looking to ratify, its primary purpose will help project our values across like-minded regions in regards to campaigning on liberations and commendations while also providing us with the framework to do so in a less resource-intensive manner. Importantly, the Bloc does not formally undermine any of our voting decisions in the World Assembly while still providing us with all of the advantages that come with joint campaigning. The latter is because the member regions of the Bloc typically all vote on World Assembly resolutions, and especially Security Council resolutions, in the same way, and are likely to almost always have their citizenries want for their respective governments to participate in the joint campaigning aspect once a recommendation and statement has been passed.

Department of Culture

Originally intended for my current Officer term, I still wish to rewrite our Regional Holidays Act: introducing a day to commemorate The Rejected Times with the coming of its 10th anniversary alongside reimagining Kandarin Day to provide purpose to the holiday, such as having it become a day to introduce a nominee to the Hall of Fame or celebrate recent Hall of Fame inductees on top of educating around their legacies within our region. Additionally, I wish to reorder our holidays in sequential order and explore the introduction of minor celebrations where events are not typically held but the moment is still commemorated, such as Pride Month where we stereotypically change our regional flag to incorporate the rainbow flag.

Nevertheless, Culture with Officer Kari at the mantle is performing swimmingly, with both a hairy and smooth Rejectmas and the Harry Potter and the Festival of Friendship flawlessly running at the same time on our end. Culture has proven itself adaptable and up for a challenge, and I could not possibly ask for anything more.

Cross-Department Project: Rejected University

While providing a suitable temporary project for an Officer without Portfolio, I intend for myself to be leading the project supported by a genuine commitment from each Officer to help oversee that their respective Department's unique skills are being taught and have a relevant internship or training opportunity being offered. I also intend to work towards having our Media Corporation and the Rejected Realms Army offer courses and internships as well.

This idea received renewed optimism thanks to CoS who put together training modules for Foreign Affairs and is currently on myself and Robes radar, though Delegate Sarah wished for me to leave the project to Robes during her term. If elected, seeing the Rejected University get up-and-running will be a huge focus for me. I believe offering this type of service both regionally and interregionally has numerous cross-departmental advantages; but, particularly for Outreach, this project will help us recruit and upskill Rejects—bringing great nations into the Doolegarchy's fold.

The Assembly

Although For & Aye or Against & Nay will remain valid ways to cast a legal vote under the Doolegarchy, I will personally oversee the introduction of 'Based' and 'Cringepilled', commonly followed by 'comrade' or 'neoliberal' respectively, as valid options to cast your vote. I am usually against forcing new cultural practices in positions of power, however, this particular issue is integral to ensuring Citizens are seen as wholeheartedly embracing the Rejecthood struggle. We will be aware of those who do not partake. Choosing to do so will be very cringepilled.

Media 'Corporation'

Looking past how repulsive the word 'corporation' is, the editorial and structural independence of Media has ensured our TRT Staffers are in the best possible position to uphold their interregional-class journalism regardless of who makes up the current government. Therefore, to the Doolegarchy's great displeasure, I do not have a nationalisation agenda.

This being said, I remain an advocate of formally democratising the Media Corporation so that the Editor-in-Chief is elected by their journalist peers who serve with and know them best. Our media deserves a legislated election process. I am also open to this being an election in the Assembly, however, this will only serve to embolden the nationalisation campaigns within the Doolegarchy (and they will be coming for your precious RRA next if so, I can assure you, so don't screw with me). And we may as well rename the Editor-in-Chief back to being the Media Officer at that point as well.

In regards to content, I do not believe it is my place to steer the intentions of independent authors and journalists. Instead, I will use this space to highlight how much I have appreciated the perceivably tireless efforts of Editor-in-Chief Aga: amongst all this steadfast commitment, his creative flair and investment into the additional service of Brief News releases deserves all of our praise.

Rejected Realms Army

Our RRA Commanders and leadership structure perform exceptionally well and should be proud of their outstanding organisation and coordination. While their doing so is not up to me, I will forever encourage a supportive stance towards fashbashing and for the RRA to lobby and educate other defenders around the importance of never protecting a region for fascists.

So join me and come lead the Revolution!

The Doolegarchy extends its paw to YOU! Come lead the Revolution, comrade, and together let us bring back the pride in Rejecthood!
