Recently the Blayredeshian 3rd and 5th Armies have recently repositioned themselves in eastern Blayredeshia 8 miles north-west of their border with Demitor. The 3rd Army under Brigadier General Edward Klan consists of 76,000 infantry, 120 tanks, 18 artillery pieces, and 170 APCs and it is the second smallest army in Blayredeshia. The 5th Army consists of 200,000 infantry, 190 tanks, 20 artillery pieces, and 175 APCs and is under the command of Major General George Lee. 500 Fighter planes have also reportedly been transported to Fort Suid which lies in the midwest of Blayredeshia’s provinces.
RP: Limited Autarky
In order to difuse tensions with nations such as Basaran; the Confederacy has halted naval trade in order to attempt to provide the Basar’s with less means of instigating conflict. The Confederacy’s main source of imported goods now only comes from the nations of Ponticianre, Kavastor, and Koysala who the Confederacy has requested only ship goods to Blayredeshia via land routes across the continent. This form of limited trade and autarky has not come without costs. Major industries all over Blayredeshia have instantly felt the immense sting and now farmers across rural Blayredeshia are being subsidized by the Blayredeshian treasury to produce more wheat and corn instead of the cashcrops more commonly grown throughout the Confederacy such as cotton and tobacco. Many wonder how long this will last although it could be prolonged via bailouts from the rich landowners and businessmen who have monopolized Blayredeshia’s market such as the Brecks and Lees but even then such an act could only last so long. Only the future will show if the land trade networks between the Blayredeshians and their previously mentioned allies will be able to sustain this limited form of autarky.
The Fleets combine
The First and Second Fleets have combined near the mouth of the Bay of Pontricare. Grand Admiral de la Croix has expressed a desire to blockade the bay however General in Chief Cleburne Bell and the Emperor advised against it instead ordering the Grand Admiral to perform a defensive blockade of Blayredeshia in addition to the coastal artillery and sea batteries being set up along the coast.
RP: Change in Tactic
Before the Blayredeshian planes in the Rumanian States return to Blayredeshia to restock on bombs; Air Marshal Otto Klan has ordered the Blayredeshian fighter planes to press their numerical advantage and attack Rumanian air defense and military instillations. Seeing as how most of these fighters are low on fuel their attacks will have to be quick and precise before returning home. This could either result in a strategic victory or only minimal damage dealt to the enemy, and given the Blayredeshian lack of intel on smaller targets it seems like this will most likely result in the latter if not worse for the Blayredeshians.

Out of all the offers the Blayredeshian Government has only accepted for the Kavastori Trade Clans to set up land trade routes and to import cheaper product product to help stimulate Blayredeshia’s autarky economy by providing more consumer goods. Most other offers have been blocked by the major families who in addition to several monopolies also are directly related to the Imperial House of Krieg. Market competiton is highly expected to occur in the arms industry as many civilians may wish for an alternative to the Breck owned Rey Arms and the Lee owned Suid Rifles for their guns as Kavastori guns when imported to Blayredeshia have been popular. Competition in the auto industry between the Kavastoris and the Breck owned Biaf General Motors and Lee owned Olden Motor Company is also expected although on a smaller scale. Regardless the market competition may be good for the economy. The Trade Clans have been leased several large factories in Blayre von Krieg City, Blayredeshia City, and Olden.

RP: Trade Deal

With the news of Blayredeshian Confederacy halting their naval trade reaching the Schismian markets, nervous investors and businesses have begun to worry that the loss of such a close and instrumental trade partner may cause the Commonwealth's economy to fluctuate enough to spark panic and create even more chaos in the Atomic Schism. As such, several private companies and small business owners located in the Northern Schism have petitioned the government, more specifically Chancellor Rhodes, to negotiate with Blayredeshia in order to prevent yet another potential recession in the nation. Furthermore, in Chancellors Rhodes's interests to remove Kavastori influence from the Commonwealth and lessen their economic hold on the region, Rhodes has proposed to the Blayredeshian that the governments resume naval trading between eachother through the use of the Atomic Schism's Merchant Navy. Chancellor Rhodes remains confident that by doing so, tensions between Basaran and Blayredeshia will remain low, while the Northern Schism and the Blayredeshian ports continue to receive steady imports.

RP: Gambit

Schwypia requests for their ally Basaran to apply additional pressure on Blayredeshia in a gambit to force the final real combatant of the yet-to-be-named war to sue for a peaceful end to the conflict. Schwypia asks the Emperor of Blayredeshia to consider the prosperity of his people and end the war before it engulfs them for avoidable reasons; said blood would be entirely on his hands, they write additionally. Schwypia promises to be kind to their foe in defeat should they call off their attacks and not press serious charges against them, but should they continue to aid the withering Rumanian Monarchist rebels, history will not be kind to the Blayredeshians.

RP: Demitor responds to Blayredeshian Movements

The National Council has officially declared a state of neutrality in all world conflicts for the time being, but prepares and mobilizes its forces to respond to the aggression from one of its neighbors. The 1st and 2nd National Corps, made up of the regular army, has been deployed inside of the Demitorian Border to counter the aggressive moves made by the northwestern neighbor. The National Corps composition is made up of around 100,000 motorized infantry, 150,000 normal rifle infantry, 150 tanks, 30 artillery pieces, and 30 attack helicopters. As well, the National Reserve Corps, using the same composition, has been activated and placed at the rear to respond to any hotspots if potential fighting breaks out. As well, the Conscription Laws of the government have been placed into effect, preparing training centers and ramping up production of supplies should the need arise. The counter the airborne threat, VTOL fighters in small pockets have been deployed to forward bases where they will operate from. They will be supported by 250 regular fighter aircraft supplemented by over 300 reserve fighter aircraft. Even though the reserve aircraft and the VTOL aircraft are inferior to the regular aircraft, they have advantages in number to offset the differences. The Nation Remains on high alert at the ready for any attacks against itself.

The attack directly targeted Blayredeshians and was responsible for the deaths of 13 from mob violence; it took police twelve hours to clear the neighborhood of the rioters, using rubber bullets, tear gas as crowd control. Police forces in the city continue to block off the entrances to the neighborhood as protesters remain behind the roadblocks demanding the Blayredeshian be deported.

Galati, Rumania - Monarchist forces holding out in Galati surrendered to Republican Forces yesterday after NDF divisions captured the Monarchist Command in the Church of St. Stefan. After the capture of their military and national command, the remaining Monarchist forces in the city surrendered to the NDF commander Alexandru Averescu. The NDF was soon faced with a new problem, it now had an additional 50,000 POWs along with the 120,000 it had already captured from Navodari and Gherla, even worse the majority of the Monarchist POWs in Galati were malnourished due to the blockade the city that had been enforced on the city. The NDF opted to set up a large tent city along the banks of the Tepes River, north of Mangalia, until better housing could be found or constructed. During a sweep of the Constantin Prezan Square, the area used as a Command Center by the Monarchists, an NDF battalion discovered the body of Ferdinand, who is believed to have killed himself. The body has been sent to the a medical examiner's office in Bucuresti for a detailed autopsy.

RP: Galati in Ruins
Galati, Rumania - With the liberation of Galati the full damage of the war could be surveyed, the city which was previously home to over 28 million people now only has a population of some 8.5 million, with the majority having fled the city during the initial invasion or later during stalemates between Monarchist and Republican Forces. The refugee crisis caused by the sudden departure of some 18 million people was immense and caused major issues in nearby cities, leading to massive tent cities and a sudden and drastic spike in the number of homeless in neighboring cities. Galati itself was heavily damaged by the months of fighting in it's streets, with estimates of over half million buildings destroyed or facing major damaged in the fighting. The use of artillery by both sides as well as air power by the Republicans contributed the most to this destruction but, later purposeful demolitions of entire city blocks by the Monarchists hoping to slow the NDF also contributed greatly to the destruction. Early reports put the civilian death toll in Galati upward of 200,000; it was known that Monarchist forces were responsible for hundreds of death through suppressive killings meant to prevent opposition by locals in addition to the use of forced conscripts to refill the monarchist ranks. Rumanian authorities have refused to allow former residents to return to the city, deeming much of it unsafe, however the remaining 8.5 million residents are permitted to stay. The fighting has caused major structural damage to many buildings making them unsafe for occupation while bombing also kicked up dangerous amounts of dust particles, much of which contains high amounts of asbestos and other dangerous toxin like Formaldehyde, materials which were common in buildings when much of the outer-city was built. In addition to the toxic dust, gas leaks provide another issue to deal with this authorities entirely cutoff the gaslines, stopping all heating in the city, leaving those who remain living through the rest of February and potentially early spring without heat. The NDF has occupied the city, which is currently under martial law and a 7pm-6am curfew, all supplies including food and drinking water must be brought into the city through military supply convoys due to the destruction of city infrastructure. The military has successfully restored power to much of the city, fortunately.

The lies and deceptions, can’t be real. The stories of long forgotten gods and ancient legends, could they be real? It certainly seems so. Fire, smoke, metal, earth and more cloud the air, turning the once green fields into nothing more than mud. And then black, lying over red, blue, green, brown. Covering all, shadowing all. This can’t be real. It must be a dream, can’t be truth. Must be a lie, can’t be life.

On the 10th February 2103, the city of Pajana, or rather the outlying suburbs, saw some of the harshest fighting in Liranaholm since the Reunification War. Soldiers under command of Lieutenant-General Radoslav Vasilev and Major Vano Galuev rose up against forces in the city, as a bomb exploded in the office of the Grand Admiral. Unbeknownst to any of the perpetrators, the Admiral was in Avallon at the time, and as such the office was empty. Major perpetrators have been arrested, and shall be tried in a court of law on the 8th April. Major Galuev has fled the country, and requests asylum in Luwuia. He claims to have with him important documents, vital to the Lirana military. He also offers money, in return for allowance to live a safe life, unbothered by Lirana or Luwuian governmental requests

The Government of Luwuia is willing to offer Asylum to Major Galuev in exchange for the documents.

Floods, erosion, poverty, hunger.

The crises that plagued Antenesia weighed heavy on the chief, all-encompassing as the blanket of humidity that smothered the islands of Paraba Atoll.

As he walked home that day, an hour's stroll through the amber rays of early evening, his thoughts swarmed, buzzing about his brain in frenetic rage. They encapsulated him with a destructive engrossment, muffling the sounds of the neighborhood he walked through, as densely packed as all the others in Lahonas.

He brooded. Brooded over the isolationism, the state of the mainland, the obstinacy of his colleagues. Above all, though, he brooded about the gridlock.

For years, it had played out the same. A disaster happens. The Lower Council votes (overwhelmingly) to begin reopening the country so they can finally get the aid and resources the nation needs. The bill makes it to the Upper Council...

...and the chiefs vote it down.

The reason was as frustrating as it was straightforward. The Lower Council's proportional, its representatives spread evenly amongst the country's population, almost half of whom live in Lahonas, and yet more on the other densely populated islands.

The Upper Council, on the other hand, is apportioned equally among the inhabited islands. Lahonas, with its tens of thousands, gets one chief. Oumatan, with its 176, gets one chief.

He didn't have the patience or interest to ponder how the decision came about, only the consequences. Less than a tenth of the population - the people on the far flung atolls, the ones with the most land, the most resources per person, the ones least at risk to the plights of the nation - control the majority of the Upper Council's seats. They have the say in what gets passed, and the country only opens when they want it to.

And why would they want it to? Why would they, on their island paradises, with their abundant fisheries and groundwater, their acres of land, want to risk exploitation by all the powers that be - powers that, mind you, seem to go to war over the drop of a pin? Their distrust of the Odrelans was as infuriating as it was sound. Who's to say, given the chance, they won't exploit us? It certainly wouldn't be that hard for them, at least until the mainland gets their act together, and who knows when that'll be?

Still, he hated the narrow-mindedness of it. If only he could just find a way to convince them, to show them-

--Crunch--

Panicked, he lifted his sandaled foot off the thing he'd just squashed. Crouching down to examine the remains, he scanned it for a moment, then breathed a sigh of relief.

It was just a beaten up container. Nothing was dead. Everything was alright.

Finally freed from his thoughts, he took the time to scan his surroundings.

He stood before a bridge; the one that connected the main island, with the Council Building, to the smaller island to the west, with the atoll's port - and his home on Paraba.

His location surprised him. The bridge was a ways from the council building, roughly the halfway point on the path to his place. Had he really been walking for that long?

Continuing, he paused as he reached the middle, staring at the calm teal waters of the shallow channel below. He stood there for a bit, watching the surface dance with the humid air's breeze. a few moments passed, maybe minutes. He wasn't counting, just staring.

After a while, he parted his gaze from the salty water. While the view was lovely, he had plans to make, and daylight would soon be fading. After a final few seconds of admiring the scenery around him, he looked on towards his home,

and moved forward.

Landing craft and convoy ships are being outfitted to maximize carrying capacity and defenses. The naval presence in the Sea of Trendaline takes form as Basar Ships group up into small task forces. The use of smaller groups enables clusters of faster destroyers to intercept and block the path of incoming trade.

RP: Deaf Ears

The threat issued by the Basaran Federation has been rejected by the Chancellor Rhodes of the Atomic Schism, who has refused to respond to the President Winston through any means of communication. Furthermore, the increased military presence in the Sea of Trendaline has given Chancellor Rhodes enough leverage to convince the Commonwealth's Parliament to order the beginning of new ship production in the port city of Embark. Meanwhile, the Atomic Schism's navy has been placed on high alert, with all 10 of the Commonwealth's destroyers being sent to patrol the immediate bay surrounding Hymn Island. Once more, Rhodes has also begun to reorganize the positions of soldiers in the Commonwealth as well, sending many of the stationed troops in the Borderlands to the coastal regions of the Northern Schism. 4 battalions of roughly 1000 soldiers each now stand stationed in forts outside Peninsulatown, Curvyville, Embark, and Fish City. 1 battalion of 500 has also been sent to Pontifey on Hymn Island, though the lack of major infrastructure has forced the soldiers there to seek shelter with local residents.

Pecs, Rumania - Angry mobs descended upon small communities of Blayredeshian expats living in Rumania; most of the expats being volunteers of the Blayredeshian intervention in Carpathia. In Pecs, rioters entered a majority Blayredeshian neighborhood in the city, assaulting residents, as well as burning cars and buildings.

Onboard 10 division of NDF numbering around 70,000 men as well as 30x Fighter-Interceptor, 30x Strike Fighter, 10x Naval Strike Fighter, 5x P/R/S Aircraft onboard each of the 4 carrier in the fleet.

RP: Monarchist Forces Surrender; Ferdinand found Dead

RP: Ending Hostilities
The Confederacy has officially announced an end to aggressive measures in the Rumanian States and has blamed the now deceased Ferdinand for his inability to make major enough gains against the Republicans. As a result the Confederacy has officially recognized the Republic of Rumania as the legitimate government. Rumors persist that agents of the Confederate Intelligence Service have attempted to or already have smuggled small arms into the Magyar Republic for Blayredeshian immigrants to arm themselves although no evidence of this exists as of now and the Imperial Ministry of State has stated it is open to having the immigrants and their families deported back to Blayredeshia.

The issue the Confederacy and its Emperor takes with your demands is that they are unrealistic and unreasonable. No state of war exists between the Confederacy or any nations of the Accord. We have ceased all actions against the Rumanians and have admitted the defeat of our intervention on behalf of lack luster allies. We will however not be unconditionally surrendering to anyone seeing as how no state of war exists between our nations or any of your allies. In your hands not ours, lies the momentous issue of war. RP || Further funding for the Warpriest

Many innovations and design changes had come out of the ongoing ['Warpriest'] project. To the delight of many tank commanders, the 20mm roof-mounted canon had been deleted and replaced with a modular system known as CROWS.

CROWS, or Commander's Remotely Operated Weapon Station, is one of many features in the new revised A2. Being a completely modular system, it is able to accept weapons from 14.5mm machineguns to 40mm automatic grenade launchers. It also features the full array of electronics and sensors the gunner's sight has while also being dual-axis stabilized.

The commander's hatch had also been revised, now featuring a lower and more ergonomic design. Much of the interior has also been altered, allowing the rear to accomodate two more dismounts or supplies. Due to requests, the rear now features a toilet and boiling vessel as permanent additions to the vehicle. A final addition to the vehicle will be the UAV station for recon duties.

As the project has gathered positive attention from the troops in the field, it has been decided that further funding will be allocated to the project to iron out other possible issues with the design.
