Loading...I think that the Davros we saw was not yet a megalomaniac. In the past, we've only seen him after he was in the travel machine and was a megalomaniac. So I think this could still fit as pre-injury.
I don't care how good the reasons are, you can't just say that we never saw him in the travel machine. But, parallel timelines are one possibility and there being periods of time after his starting to use the travel machine that he didn't need it (trying out one or another experimental method) is another possibility.
