Hi guys, I'm just on here to ask for some advice.

I have a really bad issue with employment in my country (I have an employment rate of less than 50%!!!). Are there any specific things I can do to try and help with this issue?

Thanks guys :)

If employement is a goal, look for issues which nationalises the state economy and left wing policies. I have had high 90 per cent employment rates with policies which were focused on say the category of so called socialism or how this game classified it. The bonus with that is that it has no effect on the enviorment which some policies do such as mining which increases economic growth but destroys enviormental beauty.

Speaking as a capitalistic nation...

It seems that your government controls more than half of the economy. An increased federal responsibility means less responsibility to the individual. If your nation is involved in a lot of welfare systems (which is only what I have guessed from viewing your nation's information), some of your citizens may not feel as motivated to change their ways, since the government gives them money without really doing anything.

In terms of the game, however, slashing welfare doesn't appear to lead to higher employment. Your economy is quite good overall, but your employment rate is only 75%. I haven't looked into it that carefully, but the game mechanics appear to favor heavy government involvement in business.

There appears to be little in the way of any meaningful or significant correlation of state welfare to employmenet in the sense of a negative correlation - one goes up, the other goes down or vice versa. I suppose if welfare was 100 per cent contingent on unemployment then absolutely, we would - most definitely - see that. That seems, to me, a very tough and outrageous manner to form a welfare system. Even most capitalists would agree, even the the most committed to that ideological system. That said, I am sure some unthinking, amalgamated capitalist-eugenicists may "think" otherwise.

Greetings. Room for one more?

Hey guys! Northern Alberdale here to tell you that you are all amazing individuals!
Don't stop believing and don't give up hope!

The preliminary results are in. Although, perhaps, too early to call this election fully, we are forecasting that a YES vote in favour of formal polling of WA members to vote for the WAD.

The reaults are due to be verified in one and a half days in full. However, bar a major upset in bizarre voter fraud, we are, indeed, ready to call this.

I would therefore, wish to extend my congratulations on all of us who voted and have made a lasting change to the dynamic constitution of P115. As mentioned before, this will only work if all WA members play their part. I will propose a brief colling off period until I can post a further telegram and regional announcement on the finer workings of the next step. However, it will almost certainly mirror The Rose's sound and solid suggestion on how to ru this. Bar a major upset, I would ask anyone who wishes to be put forward as a candidate as the next elected WAD to telegram me directly or announce on the RMB for their name to be added to the poll which will be eligible to only WA members of this region.

As a point of clarity, I will not be seeking re-election at this time.

Further details to follow and will be fully announced once the vote is formally over.

The poll has now closed with the question of:

Should there be an elected World Assembly's Delegate voted by Philosophy 115?

The reaults are:

Yes - all members of the region should vote on this. Garrned 4 votes. 21% of the vote.

No - keep the status quo. Garnered 1 vote. 5.3% of the vote.

Yes - but only WA members ought to be eligible
Garnered 14 votes. 73.7% of the vote.

Voter turner was of the end of the polling: 13.57%.

I therefore am announcing a YES vote to vote the WAD for all WA members to formally vote in. The result is emphatic.

Voting shall run on July 13th to July 19th (one week). The term times shall be 6 months. With a new vote therefore due on January 2021 (11th to 17th of Janurary).

I would ask all of those interested to detail their interest on the RMB and announce their platform if they wish. All are eligible as long as they are a member of the WA.

Good luck. Voting opens soon, and will be eligible to those who are members of the WA.
