Agricultural officials and workers in the the DPRK push ahead with the autumn ploughing of paddy and non-paddy fields, true to the call of the Workers’ Party of Korea for making good preparations for next year’s farming.
Anak, Sinchon and Paechon counties in South Hwanghae Province are making successes in ensuring the proper depth of ploughing.
Farms in Chongjin and Hoeryong cities and Puryong County of North Hamgyong Province have rationally allocated manpower and means and introduced efficient working methods suited to the conditions of fields, plots and ground.
South Hamgyong Province has increased the operation rate of tractors after repairing and readjusting the farm machines.
Agricultural workers in South Phyongan, Kangwon and other provinces of the country are making high results in the autumn ploughing through a socialist emulation among farms, workteams and sub-workteams.

Seminar of social scientists commemorates anniversary of publication of Chairman Kim Jong Il's work

A seminar of social scientists took place on October 30 to mark the 30th anniversary of publication of Chairman Kim Jong Il's immortal work "Socialism Is A Science".
O Hyok Chol, section chief of the Academy of Social Sciences, Jo Kwang Chol, department head of the University of National Economy, Ri Man Sok, department head of Kumsong University of Politics, and Pak Myong Nam, department head of Kim Il Sung University, presented relevant papers.
They stressed that Chairman Kim Jong Il was an outstanding thinker and theoretician who developed in depth the Juche-oriented theory of socialism in a comprehensive way and put socialism on a firm scientific basis.
They noted that he was a prominent statesman who defended and further glorified socialism in the worst adversity and thus proved the scientific accuracy of socialism with revolutionary practice.
Stressing that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is an outstanding leader guiding Korean-style socialism to a vigorous advance and overall victory, they said that the socialist cause of Juche is sure to emerge victorious and the vitality of socialism as a science will be everlasting as long as he leads the Korean revolution.
The speakers called on all social scientists to fully discharge their responsibility and duty in doubling the driving force of advance of Korean-style socialism by equipping all the people with firm faith in the socialist cause of Juche.
Present at the seminar were Thae Hyong Chol, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, and officials, lecturers and researchers in the fields of science, education, revolutionary relics preservation and institutions for training Party cadres.

Thoughts on the participation of KPA troops against NATO/Ukraine in Kursk?
This region has long supported the people of Ukraine that want to break away from NATO domination, unlike many of the leftists on NS who fell wholeheartedly to NATO propaganda. Its laughable that NATO will say "We will send Ukraine hundreds of billions of dollars in weapons and advisors and support staff, but it is UNACCEPTABLE that Russia gets allies.". Its good to see a deepening of strategic relations between the anti-NATO countries. The sooner Ukraine stops playing the tool for NATO imperialism the sooner the war will be over. Theyve already lost and its clear.

I have a few things I’d like to add, however, as a personal opinion.
These conflicts are always more complicated than the way that the neo liberal capitalist press displays them.
The conflict between Israel and the Palestinian people did not begin from a terrorist attack October 2023. On this message board alone, there is probably 10 years of that conflict recorded.
The conflict between Ukraine and Russia, did not begin when Russia invaded either. The territories in question in eastern Ukraine, mostly speak Russian, share more Russian culture than Ukrainian culture, and sympathize with the Russian state. Some of the territories in question, demand of their independence from Ukraine, and wanted close ties with Russia. They had a referendum in 2014, which was not recognized by (NATO) the western nations, because it’s not in their interests to lose territory to Russia. I would like to clarify, I have no sympathies for Russian imperialism, and I think that the invasion was unwarranted, I also think that Russia was very patient trying to find a solution diplomatically, and the Americans would not have it. Now that we have a little more backstory on the conflict, we can address the DPRK’s involvement.
“National liberation” are two words that mean a lot to the Korean people in the north of the peninsula, liberating their own nation from Japanese imperialism. Then, once they had secured their nation, they had it levelled by Western imperialism. If you’ve ever been to the DPRK, you will notice that all of the main cities are quite new, and nothing but farms and some national monuments are older than 1950.
That’s because there was nothing left after the Korean War (Chosŏn chŏnjaeng).
Because of this history, this near “genocide” that these people have endured, they sympathize with other nations in the anti-NATO block. As Comradeland points out.
The DPRK recognizes the sovereignty of the State of Palestine over all territory held by Israel, excluding the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, which it recognizes as Syrian territory. The DPRK does not recognize Israel and regards it as an "imperialist satellite state" of the United States.
The DPRK has shared missile technology with Iran in trade for oil, and small arms and rocket technology with Hamas.
Reading KCNA articles and Rodong Sinmun one comes to collusion that Russia and the DPRK are moving towards better relations, especially when both are suffering under heavy, western imposed sanctions.
Personally, I’m a little bit surprised to see DPRK troops in Eastern Europe, but I’m not surprised to see Korean manufactured weapons in the conflict. About 20 hours ago, the Russians launched a medium ranged ICBM on a city inside of Ukraine, in retaliation, for the American made, long range missile fired into Russian territory a few days ago. While I’m sure that the Russians are ahead of the DPRK in ICBM technology, this is the very method that the DPRK has used for deterrence for many years on its own. It is the development of these weapons, specifically, which has made the DPRK, such an international pariah to NATO sympathizing nations.

On the major update of November 9th, 2024, the People's Revolutionary Air Force secured the delegacy of the Republic of Kelra. This region was a small frontier founded and led by a former member of Roses Without Thorns, which was raided earlier this year and declared do-not-defend. The founder was removed from RWoT before the raid for fascism.
With the help of Rebel Squadron to secure the region and serve as ROs and Surge Squadron to strengthen the hold, the region was fully cleared out and passworded in a little over a week. It now stands as a trophy of the PRAF and a reminder that fascists don't get frontiers.

As such, it is only right we give dedicate a piece to it.
Lenin’s death shook the world just as the establishment of the USSR itself just two years prior did. As both a deeply influential communist theorist and the leader of the world’s first socialist state, he left behind an incredible legacy — One that continues to inspire comrades across the world to this very day in the grand fight against the forces of reaction and exploitation.
And what of the country he left behind — The Soviet Union? It was the peoples of the USSR who liberated so much of Europe from the fascist yoke during the Second World War, only to have their many contributions and sacrifices denied and downplayed by their former “allies” in the US and UK. And yet the peoples of the USSR, who did so much to help their comrades in Africa, Asia and the Americas in their own fight against colonialism, were ultimately betrayed. More than thirty years after, the ghost of the Warsaw Pact’s collapse still haunts Europe to this day.
It would not be inaccurate to say that the destruction of the USSR, and the Eastern Bloc at large, was one of the greatest humanitarian tragedies of the 20th Century. “Shock therapy” privatization efforts allowed vulture capitalists to feast on the Union’s corpse, entrenching themselves in the new Russian Federation, as the remnants of the Second World weathered a political and economic crisis unlike any other prior. The dream of Lenin and those who followed in his footsteps — Of a world where all peoples are free from the malaise of capital — Seems very far indeed.
But Lenin yet lives. From Palestine to Congo, from Bolivia to Haiti, from Korea to Vietnam. All around the world, in every nation fighting against imperialism, against fascism and against capitalism, he lives on — In the words and deeds of the workers, the peasants, and the oppressed of the world. And we too, as a united front of communists, anarchists, and leftists, embody the spirit of Lenin in our fight against the scourge of rightism.
