Immigration Ministry Announcement

Hello citizens of the NWA. The immigration ministry wishes to announce that we are finally fomalizing the NWA Manual Recruitment Agency. This was one of our plans after the victory last election, which we stated in an interview with the RMC. Below you can find a factbook with all details, this factbook was based of the Justice Ministry's Border Control Agency factbook, so special thanks to justice minister Cesorion.

With the final formalization of the Manual Recruitment Agency, we are also announcing we have one spot open for a new manual recruiter. If you are interested in the position please contact immigration minister Banana man154, we have preference for long time residents, as well as people with experience in recruitment, however that doesen't mean we aren't accepting people without any experience.

In fact, the IRS said that about half of those in the bottom quintile were in a higher quintile within ten years in a study looking at 1995-2006. And the reverse of that is that 75% of the top 0.01% of income earners dropped down to a lower quintile. One study from UC-Berkeley actually found that intergenerational mobility has remained extremely stable for the 1971-1993 birth cohorts and that “the probability that a child from a low-income family (e.g., the bottom 20%) reaches a fixed upper income threshold (e.g., $100,000)…has increased.". The probability of low-income children attending college has also risen.

The main cause for income immobility in the United States is personal decisions people make, such as having children out of wedlock, dropping out of high school, criminality, and other deleterious decisions.

^one general article. Instead of just loookg at the IRS, look at issues of the l”cycle of poverty”. The idea of “work harder” is nonsense as many jobs it’s loterally impossible to work harder. If you are a janitor you can only make something so clean. You can only flip a hamburger so well. You can only assemble things on an assembly line so well. Odds are you won’t be promoted to management because owners arnt looking at workers for those jobs. They are looking at people that went to school for that sort of thing. What do you need for that kind of school? Money. If you don’t have money to start with how are you going to go to school to get the education needed to make enough money to pay for the education needed to make enough money? Work two jobs? Three? Each extra job is a job taken from someone else who also needs it.

The reason your IRS data is skewed is because a large number of Americans experience poverty for a short period in their life (especially when just starting out on their own). That creates a statistical measurement issue. That’s what is reflected in your IRS data, not life long poverty

The claim is not that people do not move up social classes, it is that people do not move up social classes as often. Attributing one single cause to income immobility is a perilous path to tread on, there are heaps and piles of factors - bad decision making is one of them. I really don't think it is the main cause though. If you born in a lower class, it is irrefutable that the odds are stacked immeasurably against you and any children you might have, a perpetuation known as the Poverty Cycle. Denying the existence of the poverty cycle and blaming poverty solely on the working classes' decision-making is (a) wrong (b) condescending.
Having children out of wedlock is not necessarily a bad thing, though I do think it should be discouraged. It does place more financial strain on the (single?) parent(s?) but it is not always a factor which sinks families economically. There is also adoption, birth control and abortion.
Dropping out of high school isn't a particularly wise idea, I'll give you that.
Can't really defend crime either.

Yea that’s the entire point, people don’t spend long-periods of time in poverty very often. I’ve heard you claim contrary to that before. People move up and about in terms of income. And again you lack data.

{What are your thoughts on the Brexit News?}

If I'm being honest, I don't pay much attention to international politics. I'm not saying that it doesn't matter but rather, it doesn't have the direct effect that American politics has. However, I do support Britain to leave the EU. I can only hope a deal can be made!

Finally! I have many thoughts on Brexit.

I’m very Pro-Brexit, and I don’t think that’s a ‘racist’ stance because it only concerns white European immigrants which isn’t racist in a conventional stance. I think taking control of our borders and economics would be a good thing, but I don’t think it will happen.

I don’t lack data. I already pointed to the near constant poverty rate. That’s literally data. I’m not talking about brief stints of poverty. I’m talking about the people born in poverty. Your data does not deal with that. Instead it conflates two very different forms of poverty
