2nd crimean

Hey I am crimean's replacement until S4 comes out. (to boost card rarity)

Wisteria and Surrounding Territories wrote:I understand that the death penalty does take another life. But I also do realize that there are some twisted, messed up people out there that do not deserve the gift of life anymore. I have seen the stories of such heartless people before, yet the Missouri governor, and the USSC is apparent the bad guys.
I do not know the story, but I still believe that the sympathy for the criminal is wrong.
I support the death penalty, because there are horrible people. This is a harsh reality.

I am against the death penalty. As a southerner I have seen what death penalties have done and accidents happen, some people could (and have) be unjustly killed and falsely accused. It’s not about sympathy for a criminal, no, it’s sympathy for the unfortunate person that is put in the worst case scenario.

Guys do you get your own card by telegrams, or do you have to get it by packs?

I last played NS like a decade ago, how do these cards even work? XD

The Dackians I will give you one chance, become a vassal of Japan or face whatever peace deal Not not has. I do not believe they want you to have any say in the coming wars

French Wallonia wrote:Guys do you get your own card by telegrams, or do you have to get it by packs?

The latter.

This is the second harsh reality.
This one of my many political/moral dilemmas that I face.
Now, rather than writing up a speech, because I don't feel to compelled to do so, I'm just going to leave it at this.

What is the peace deal proposed exactly ? A regime change and an exclusion from America sounds to be enought

I also propose for The Dackians to have a reduced military, in exchange for them falling under my military protection

Japanese TacoMan wrote:This has been on my mind for the past little while... Japtilas has certainly been bending the rules to help the country grow and to abduct a leader of a large nation!?! A NATION THAT JAPAN IS ALLIED WITH!?
Still however, Japan is Allied with both Wisteria and Japtilas but the threats being made to Jax are hard to forget. The court may think itself the law but I think it's just a group of power hungry people eager to see something that benefits themselves from hurting another.
Japan knows what is happening in that court and the people we planted there will only sit idle for so long. I do hope Japtilas will just forget the words spoken by Jax..

Side note Japan has made their way down to The Dackians and is waiting for the call to blow the coast to pieces and march forward. The Dackians claim of having a hundred battleships was indeed incorrect instead a small fleet comprised of a few battleships and ten destroyers accompanied by their respective crafts met the Japanese navy of over twenty battleships, sixty destroyers, with hundreds of small patrol and attack boats loaded with soldier who would LOVE the chance to die for the emperor. Nothing The Dackians could say would stop the invasion but NotNot certainly could as they called this war. The Japanese Emperor stood commanding the largest battleship ever seen, even bigger than the Yamato class battleships sent to other nations. This ship alone had the power to destroy The Dackians, so Japan has given NotNot One day to respond...

We have remained relatively silent on the Coolidge affair, but we mostly agree with Japtilas's procedures against the leader of Wisteria and Surrounding Territories.

We however wish to see them also trial filth like Arkhann, the previous leader of Triskelia, or anyone who has ties to criminal organization or proven records of war crimes.

The spread of Cartel and personal powers cannot be tolerated.

Triskelia wrote:

“My dear compatriots, sons and daughters of Triskelia. I appear to you today, truly humble"

Caespian spoke in front of the camera, dressed in a perfect uniform, surrounded by his wife and son (OOC : Think about a John Smith's style of man)

"A few days ago, the nations of Kreigsreich and Avaritiarium disappeared in a nuclear frenzy, after Wisteria's Black Army successfully attacked Kreigsreich headquarters and killed their leader, Louis de Routel.

This attack, although an enemy success, is nevertheless a blessing for our country. For it has revealed a foul truth. A truth that explains why Kreigsreich would not intervene in this war without our own forces...”

Caespian closed his eyes, before speaking again, in a harsher voice.

“It made it possible to reveal that Kreigsreich was nothing more than a gigantic lie. The so-called nation populated by billions of people in underground bases, with an army of hundreds of millions... it was all a lie, created by genius propaganda.
In truth, Kreigsreich had only a few million clone soldiers, and disused Soviet air bases under their control. That's why they used nuclear weapons systematically, or why they needed our arms deliveries. They were powerful, but far less so than the perception we all had of them. That is why they collapsed so quickly”

Caespian looked ashamed in front of the camera.

“We all believed it. Myself, our government, our allies, our enemies. All of us. And yet, it was so logical. Kreigsreich was an exiled nation which fled from France to Russia. How could they have been so powerful, so numerous. We were all fools.
But the lie worked, because it was nurtured and manufactured by our own media. By our own politicians. Starting with my own colleague, Lucia Silvius, who fled after the fall of Kreigsreich.
Which brings me to the second truth. A thousand times more horrible.”

Caespian turned his head slightly, looking at the ground, searching for words as his face darkened with rage.

“Silvius' escape only confirmed something that an investigation by our police was beginning to uncover. The identity of the assassins behind the son of our former leader, Arkhann. And today I have the proof.”

Caespian's son handed a folder to his father, who brandished it angrily at the camera.

“I accuse Kreigsreich of Iron, and Lucia Silvius, of being behind the murder of little Tibert! I accuse Kreigsreich of blaming Wisteria and Surrounding Territories for this murder to start a war between our two nations! I accuse Kreigsreich of having pushed Triskelia to sacrifice its sons and daughters to accomplish their obession: the reconquest of our former territory!”

“I accuse Lucia Silvius and the Triskel far right-wing of having passed a deal with this enemy, and, worse, of having aided him in his quest! Through corruption, ideology and lust for power! I accuse those responsible for this madness of having provoked the fall of Jerusalem, and the bloody battle of Rostov! I accuse our enemies of turning our glorious nation into a pariah state, to satisfy the megalomania of a madman!

Finally, I accuse the plotters of knowing perfectly well that Kreigsreich was much weaker than Triskelia. That's why they needed us in their madness! Alone, they couldn't march on Europe! They needed us, Macimo-Rongor and Crimean to do their dirty work!!

Caespian calmed down, and regained his posture.

“Because of these traitors, hundreds of thousands of Triskels are dead or wounded. Let's not let their sacrifice be for nothing.”

His voice was strong.

“For this crisis gives us a new opportunity! To create a new order, one that will not tolerate dissent in Triskelia, one that will wipe out the nepotism and corruption that has plunged us into the clutches of Kreigsreich.
I announce that Triskelia will cease all hostile action against European nations, and will help the Nordic nations to crush the remnants of Kreigsreich.
I announce that Triskelia will cease to concern itself with European affairs, and concentrate instead on its own turf, the Middle East and Asia.
I announce the takeover of all our country's media, to let only the word of order and stability be heard amidst a sea of traitors.”

Lastly, I thank two nations we can look into the eyes of again and call brothers, despite our past wars. For these nations shares the same history as us, the same blood as us. And, unlike Kreigsreich, they have not let us down. I'm talking about Macimo-Rongor and Port Sheldon

Caespian looked into the camera with an intense face.

“Marshall Patrick Beltram, General Porfirio, hear me. We had all been part of the same kingdom, in the past, ruled from the mythical city of Kerralith. I therefore humbly ask your proud nations, in the name of this mythical name, to sign a pact between our great nations. A pact of assistance, self-defense and alliance. The Pact of Kerralith. May our old glory return once again.”

"Long live Triskelia. Long live Macimo-Rongor. Long live Port Sheldon. Long live Kerralith Eterna !"

"Ad Victoriam"

The Marshal Patrick looked thoughtfully at his Triskel counterpart's proposal, considering the pros and cons in preparation for his call with Port Sheldon.

On one hand, Triskelia is turning more and more into a reactionnary dictatorship, despite its purge of its far right and its recent social policies. Macimo-Rongor's population is still mostly left wing, and allying their deeply theocratic and conservative cousins, who just fight them not so long ago, would be perceived poorly. Plus Triskelia remains particularly hated by Port Sheldon.

Then there was the elephant in the room: the Bando-Gorra. Allying with Triskelia would mean potentially being infiltrated by the Cartel, which Patrick hated just as much as his Port Sheldon counterpart.
And even if they did get rid of the cartel, Triskelia's economy was still far more competitive than Macimo's. It would be madness to open the dunai barriers without compensation.

"But on the other hand..." says Patrick for himself.

the Triskel people's perception of Macimo has changed enormously for the better, thanks to Patrick's help during the war with Strawvya and the Fish Eyes affair, which is still not completely over (Cyprus is still infested), leaving an opportunity to sway their popular support for an alliance...

And having the world's second-largest economy as an ally remains interesting, especially as Macimo faces internal problems that Patrick is unable to solve...

Patrick began rereading another economic report. Although corruption is down thanks to his measures, the black market remains huge and growing as more and more companies and individuals seek to evade Macimo-Rongor's enormous taxes. Patrick perfectly understood the urgency of lowering these taxes, and redistributed a lot of money to businesses and individuals through free food and energy policies... but the bureaucracy still presented many corruption problems... and he couldn't lower taxes enough without destroying whole sections of the social system.
Then protectionism limits Macimo's growth, and Patrick knows that large parts of his economy would be uncompetitive without customs protection.
And then there was the matter of limited access to resources, which forced Patrick to back his currency with gold to gain access to cheap imports... But the country's gold reserves are far from infinite.

And above all, Patrick wanted to stabilize the situation on his borders. His neighbors, with the exception of Illyria, were all hostile or unstable states, and the only reliable ally he had was Port Sheldon, whose military and diplomatic influence remained relatively weak, although the friendship between the two nations was extremely strong.

And the Cherry on top... Reforming Kerralith...

Marshal Patrick groaned and set about writing a reply to his foreign minister.
“Start negotiating the terms of an alliance that would be economically favorable to Port Sheldon and ourselves. If Triskelia wants our full military and diplomatic support, then they're going to have to contribute.”
“And above all, include a central condition for the opening of any negotiations. One on which we will be uncompromising.”

Abandon the Bando-Gorra.

So just read all that n-day events and things. How do we join the N-day faction.?

It's not up yet, we're waiting for pre-registration to start in order to create the faction, after which you should be able to join.

Seeing that they either choose slavery or what I have in mind I have some conditions. 1. Never declare war on Not not or her allies. 2. Ten million Japti. 3. Reduction of military to half of the current standing size. 4. A reduction in land by ten percent.

Treaty of Versailles ass deal. I'm on board though.
Also, remember that Braunsreich is ready to invade.

I mean I haven't built a doomsday bunker in this game, which is different than the real life bunker situation.

It may or may not fit all my cows.

I’m planning on doing one for MJT

Out of curiosity: You're nation's arms manufacturers, are they a private company, government department, trade guild, syndicate, or something else?

If I wanted to write a letter to them directly, to whom would I address?

Bourbon Wisconsin wrote:It may or may not fit all my cows.

This is absolutely based!

Prepping for this hurricane! Im going up to Atlanta to leave because I learned my lesson with Idalia.

All factories that produce any sort of weapon are managed by the government, specifically the department of war which is led by the Emperor Yiroyito, but if you wish to contact someone please ask the prime minister Karo Tono.
