A Modern Chalistine
The past few centuries have been kind to Chalistine. While it has taken more time than it should have, a stable government was created and has made Chalistine a well-developed state. The economy is booming and the approval rate of the current PM Fiore Adelardihas reached 80%. However, factionalism within the republic has become a potential problem, with the nationalist party, Nazione D'argento, wishing to push around the pagan states of the east and create a pure Christian powerhouse of a nation. However, the current coalition of the Liberals (Libertà Eterna) and the Conservatives (Santa Unità) keeps the peace and maintains good relations with the Western world.
The new century seems bright, but darkness is easy to slip by in the new age.
