Vicente Nkemdilim Desafío Negado | Vicente Nkemdilim Denied Challenge

The Supreme Court of Sohongida has denied any challenges of the embezzlement charges against Vicente Nkemdilim. This is due to a lack of evidence that would remove Mr. Nkemdilim from the situation of embezzlement. Any mentions of foul play against Mr. Nkemdilim have been put down to hearsay and have been thrown out in all levels of courts within Sohongida. Mr. Nkemdilim will have to serve his entire ten year prison sentence.

Taiseer al-Yousef Asesinada | Taiseer al-Yousef Killed

Taiseer al-Yousef, born Juan Carlos Ugoorji, has been killed by the Sohongidan Armed Forces in an attempt to take the State of Kaduna. While attempting a raid on an unspecified compound in the state's capital, Kaduna, al-Yousef was killed. It's suspected that Free North Sohongida were working with, or attempting to, IYZN in order to separate north and south Sohongida. It is unclear as to if al-Yousef was the leader of Free North Sohongida, but he had been suspected of becoming the new leader along with two other individuals. President Obasie was quoted saying this upon hearing the news:

"The more we fight against those who wish to break Sohongida apart, the more we can secure the unity of this nation. Those who wish to break apart our nation will ultimately face the same consequences, it's just a matter of when, not if."

Some critics have slammed this comment as it shouldn't have been made in public, but Obasie's supporters, and even some of his harshest critics, echo the message he is trying to send with that statement. Despite going against Obasie's attempt at a slow push, a majority of those who have commented on Obasie's statement feel the same as he does. With the death of al-Yousef, two individuals stand as the only likely replacements for the previous known leader of Free North Sohongida, Abdul Maalik al-Abdallah, who was arrested over two months ago. Those individuals are, once again, Bakar al-Muhammad and Abdur Rasheed el-Alli. Citizens of Sohongida are encouraged to give any information they can on the whereabouts of these two individuals, but have been asked to stay as far away as possible from the individuals as they are considered extremely dangerous.

Romanovskaya wrote:
PRIME MINISTERS OFFICE, GOVERNMENT HEADQUARTERS, SUSANIN HOUSE, VYBORG

It was a relatively quiet morning in Susanin House, the headquarters of the Government of Romanovskaya. Prime Minister Daria Shchegolyayeva was in her office going through her emails and sipping a cup of coffee. There was a knock on her door, with Shchegolyayeva calling them to come in. It was her secretary who had brought to her letters that had been delivered for that day. Shchegolyayeva thanked her and the secretary left, closing the door behind her.

She quickly scanned through the various envelopes, picking out the ones with handwritten addresses to read first, something of a habit she had developed. The first two letters were from disgruntled citizens, relatively typical and were quickly disposed of. The third letter she picked up was different. Firstly the envelope was closed with a wax seal, and the letter itself felt very light. She opened the deal and pulled out one single piece of paper that was inside.

The paper was mostly blank, except for one handwritten name down the bottom. The name was “Olga Bolushkina”, a Major General in the Police. There was no context to the name, nor any clue as to who the letter had come from. As Shchegolyayeva placed the letter on her desk, her phone began to ring. The name “Pharmacy” appeared on the screen. Shchegolyayeva did not answer right away, instead immediately getting up and walked to the office door. She locked it, and turned around back to her desk. She picked up the phone.

Shchegolyayeva: “I have told you not to call me during work hours.”

Pharmacy: “Did you read it?”

Shchegolyayeva: “I did.”

Pharmacy: “Put her on top.”

Shchegolyayeva: “I trust you will make it worth my while?”

Pharmacy: “As always.”

Shchegolyayeva: “Then it’s done.”

The call ends, and Shchegolyayeva puts the letter back into the envelope and places it into her handbag. She stands back up and walks over to the door, unlocks and opens it. Outside her secretary is sitting at her computer. Shchegolyayeva orders her to contact all government ministers and tell them to come to a meeting for 2pm today.

PRIVATE GOVERNMENT MEETING, GOVERNMENT HEADQUARTERS, SUSANIN HOUSE, VYBORG

At Susanin House, the headquarters of the Government of Romanovskaya, the time was approaching 2pm. Most of the government ministers had arrived in the meeting room awaiting the Prime Minister Daria Shchegolyayeva. Education minister Lyudmila Merkulova was yet to arrive however and at precisely 2pm, Shchegolyayeva entered the room. She took her seat at the head of the table. Before opening the meeting, she glances up from her notes and notices the empty chair.

Shchegolyayeva: “Where is Merkulova?”

The room stays silent for a moment before culture minister Vladimir Slyshchenko speaks up.

Slyshchenko: “I believe she had a family matter she had to attend to Prime Minister.”

Shchegolyayeva nods and gives a little shrug. “Very well we shall have to carry on without her. Now to start I wish to get an update from each of you as to the work you have been carrying out lately. Minister Volkov if I may start with you.”

Foreign Minister Viktor Volkov: “Thank you Prime Minister. As I am sure you are aware the situation around the world has been evolving quite rapidly with events in the former Soviet Raj, or the situation in Azerbaijan which we are still in the dark with regards to reliable information. We can say with some certainty that Cccp- is involved given the reasonably well publicised build-up of troops in the Dagestan region. I have instructed all my staff to remain tight lipped on commenting on the situation there.”

Shchegolyayeva: “Very good. Indeed we need to be careful not to antagonise the Soviet government, as I have said before it remains in our interest to maintain cordial relations with Moscow. Likewise with Imperial Eagle, have we any more information on the nature of what happened in Soviet Raj?”

Volkov: “No Prime Minister.”

Shchegolyayeva: “No matter. Whatever happened we will not make any sort of public statement condemning the actions of the Americans.”

Volkov: “Understood.”

Shchegolyayeva: “Thank you Minister Volkov. Now, Minister Konovalova if you could provide your update now please.”

Finance Minister Konovalova: “Thank you Prime Minister. The current economic outlook for the next quarter remains underwhelming unfortunately. Given events abroad and the effect it has had on the global economy, at best we can hope to avoid a contraction of the national economy but any growth seems unlikely until at least into the first quarter of next year. Inflation has risen to 5.3% compared to 3.2% in the last quarter although I don’t expect to see any further rises. I would like to put forward a consideration for Romanovskaya to join the North European Council in the near future. Having a stable trade bloc that suites our economic model is one that could bring great benefits.”

Shchegolyayeva: “Overall I would say you and your staff in the Ministry of Finance have performed well given the cards you have been dealt so I with to commend you on that. With regards to the NEC I absolutely agree with your consideration and I want it made a government priority to look at how best to go forward with persuading the existing members of the NEC that Romanovan involvement in the bloc will be to their benefit and should support our bid for membership.”

The-kalmar-union, Cruesnia

Konovalova: “Thank you Prime Minister I will be sure to make that a priority and hope I can work closely with Minister Volkov on that.”

Volkov: “I would look forward to working with you on that Minister Konovalova.”

Shchegolyayeva: “Excellent. Make sure to update me regularly with regards to progress on that. Now, Deputy Prime Minister Eybozhenko if you could provide an update with regards to your Ministry please.”

Minister of Police & Defence Aleksandr Eybozhenko: “Certainly Prime Minister. Firstly, we have been monitoring the movement of Soviet forces with our colleagues in NATA and while there have been build-ups around Azerbaijan, we have not seen any activity close to Romanovskaya or the Scandinavian area to cause us concern.”

Shchegolyayeva: “Is that all? What about the policing situation?”

Eybozhenko: “Ehh..... yes of course Prime Minister. General of the Police Leonid Morozov will be retiring at the end of the month. I have already held discussions with his deputy Colonel General Kirill Akinfeev on succeeding him which he is eager to do. I believe he will be more than suitable to take on the role....”

Shchegolyayeva: “Sorry to interrupt you Deputy Prime Minister, but I have to say I do not agree with you on Akinfeev. While he has performed his duties well as second in command I do not see him as leader material. I will tell you who I have been impressed with, Major General Olga Bolushkina. She has performed extremely well overseeing policing in the Lakhdenpokhsky District. Also she would be the first woman to head the police service, and no doubt would bring plenty of fresh ideas to the table. “

Eybozhenko: “With all due respect Prime Minister, Bolushkina although experienced, its mostly as you mentioned limited to Lakhdenpokhsky District which is very rural and has always seen low crime rates. I mean, she seems an odd choice when not just Akinfeev, but there are others I would put ahead of her.”

Shchegolyayeva: “I understand were you are coming from Deputy Prime Minister, however I do truly feel it is time for a shake up in the police service and Bolushkina is the person I believe who can do just that.”

Eybozhenko: “Prime Minister, ultimately it is up to me in the position of Minister of Police & Defence to appoint the General of the Police and I cannot appoint someone who I believe is neither experienced enough or qualified for the job.”

Shchegolyayeva:
“Look, I will discuss this with you privately later. I don’t want this meeting to be derailed any further.”

MOXIE experiment reliably produces oxygen on Mars

On the red and dusty surface of Mars, nearly 100 million miles from Earth, an instrument the size of a lunchbox is proving it can reliably do the work of a small tree.

The MIT-led Mars Oxygen In-Situ Resource Utilization Experiment, or MOXIE, has been successfully making oxygen from the Red Planet's carbon-dioxide-rich atmosphere since February 2021, when it touched down on the Martian surface as part of NASA's Perseverance rover mission.

In a study published in the journal Science Advances, researchers report that, by the end of 2021, MOXIE was able to produce oxygen on seven experimental runs, in a variety of atmospheric conditions, including during the day and night, and through different Martian seasons. In each run, the instrument reached its target of producing six grams of oxygen per hour -- about the rate of a modest tree on Earth.

Researchers envision that a scaled-up version of MOXIE could be sent to Mars ahead of a human mission, to continuously produce oxygen at the rate of several hundred trees. At that capacity, the system should generate enough oxygen to both sustain humans once they arrive, and fuel a rocket for returning astronauts back to Earth.

So far, MOXIE's steady output is a promising first step toward that goal.

"We have learned a tremendous amount that will inform future systems at a larger scale," says Michael Hecht, principal investigator of the MOXIE mission at MIT's Haystack Observatory.

MOXIE's oxygen production on Mars also represents the first demonstration of "in-situ resource utilization," which is the idea of harvesting and using a planet's materials (in this case, carbon dioxide on Mars) to make resources (such as oxygen) that would otherwise have to be transported from Earth.

"This is the first demonstration of actually using resources on the surface of another planetary body, and transforming them chemically into something that would be useful for a human mission," says MOXIE deputy principal investigator Jeffrey Hoffman, a professor of the practice in MIT's Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. "It's historic in that sense."

Hoffman and Hecht's MIT co-authors include MOXIE team members Jason SooHoo, Andrew Liu, Eric Hinterman, Maya Nasr, Shravan Hariharan, and Kyle Horn, along with collaborators from multiple institutions including NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which managed MOXIE's development, flight software, packaging, and testing prior to launch.

The current version of MOXIE is small by design, in order to fit aboard the Perseverance rover, and is built to run for short periods, starting up and shutting down with each run, depending on the rover's exploration schedule and mission responsibilities. In contrast, a full-scale oxygen factory would include larger units that would ideally run continuously.

Despite the necessary compromises in MOXIE's current design, the instrument has shown it can reliably and efficiently convert Mars' atmosphere into pure oxygen. It does so by first drawing the Martian air in through a filter that cleans it of contaminants. The air is then pressurized, and sent through the Solid OXide Electrolyzer (SOXE), an instrument developed and built by OxEon Energy, that electrochemically splits the carbon dioxide-rich air into oxygen ions and carbon monoxide.

The oxygen ions are then isolated and recombined to form breathable, molecular oxygen, or O2, which MOXIE then measures for quantity and purity before releasing it harmlessly back into the air, along with carbon monoxide and other atmospheric gases.

Since the rover's landing in February 2021, MOXIE engineers have started up the instrument seven times throughout the Martian year, each time taking a few hours to warm up, then another hour to make oxygen before powering back down. Each run was scheduled for a different time of day or night, and in different seasons, to see whether MOXIE could accommodate shifts in the planet's atmospheric conditions.

"The atmosphere of Mars is far more variable than Earth," Hoffman notes. "The density of the air can vary by a factor of two through the year, and the temperature can vary by 100 degrees. One objective is to show we can run in all seasons."

So far, MOXIE has shown that it can make oxygen at almost any time of the Martian day and year.

"The only thing we have not demonstrated is running at dawn or dusk, when the temperature is changing substantially," Hecht says. "We do have an ace up our sleeve that will let us do that, and once we test that in the lab, we can reach that last milestone to show we can really run any time."

As MOXIE continues to churn out oxygen on Mars, engineers plan to push its capacity, and increase its production, particularly in the Martian spring, when atmospheric density and carbon dioxide levels are high.

"The next run coming up will be during the highest density of the year, and we just want to make as much oxygen as we can," Hecht says. "So we'll set everything as high as we dare, and let it run as long as we can."

They will also monitor the system for signs of wear and tear. As MOXIE is just one experiment among several aboard the Perseverance rover, it cannot run continuously as a full-scale system would. Instead, the instrument must start up and shut down with each run -- a thermal stress that can degrade the system over time.

If MOXIE can operate successfully despite repeatedly turning on and off, this would suggest that a full-scale system, designed to run continuously, could do so for thousands of hours.

"To support a human mission to Mars, we have to bring a lot of stuff from Earth, like computers, spacesuits, and habitats," Hoffman says. "But dumb old oxygen? If you can make it there, go for it -- you're way ahead of the game."

This research was supported, in part, by NASA.

Commander Xue Mingchang: 'Ezo Salvation Army' destroyed in Hakodate, 400 killed

HAKODATE — Commander Xue Mingchang, the leader of the PDFGF's detachment in Hakodate, has confirmed that the illegal occupation of the Keibajō complex by the Ezo Salvation Commission has ended.

    > 500 arrested across Beihaidao SSR as PDF activities reach zenith
    > 2 JDL fighters killed in Shikot for attempted robbery
    > Minister of Defence: "we have waited long enough for a peaceful resolution."

The PDF was given the order to storm the complex at 0400 in the morning by deputy Minister of Defence Piao Lingwen. The order was countersigned by Minister of Defence Chae Kum-sok, who commanded forces on the ground "to do all that is necessary to end this 80 week-long reign of terror by illegal militants." The occupiers are organized under the Ezo Salvation Commission and its armed wing, the Ezo Salvation Army, which aims to violently secede from the FEUSSR to recreate the Republic of Ezo. It was a short-lived separatist state which existed for 5 months in 1869 prior to the imperialist takeover by the Japanese Empire.

"We have been very patient with this so-called Commission," Commander Xue said, "but we had to act eventually. Today will see the total destruction of the Ezo Salvation Commission and its Salvation Army. We must send a message to all separatist forces on this island, informing them that no one can undermine and subvert the FEUSSR without facing severe repurcussion."

The Keibajō complex has been besieged and surrounded for 80 weeks as part of a campaign to starve the occupiers out bloodlessly. The latest and final assault was a calculated move to annihilate the resisting forces by exploiting their weakness through starvation and isolation to help ensure minimal losses for deployed forces and the local area. The operation was a success, as only 13 PDF soldiers were killed and 60 injured, with no civilian casualties reported.

At 0400, PDFGF forces deployed tanks to the barricaded entrances of the complex and fired rounds of high explosive into them at close range. Helicopter troops simultaneously engaged occupation forces from the air with sustained automatic fire. The ventilation system for indoors premises was pumped with an analgesic aerosol, causing the militants to fire blindly at the PDF positions outside. After fifteen minutes, a physical assault on the complex commenced, aided by armoured fighting vehicles which stormed through the racetrack. Troops were transported via helicopter, tunneling, and through emergency entrances. A bulk of PDF fatalities occurred at this juncture due to booby-trapped hallways and accidents with the helicopter landings in the dark.

After nearly one and a half hours of sporadic gun battles, the PDF had succeeded in killing most of the fighters, including those who had succumbed to the aerosol. Fighting was the fiercest at the audience stands, which afforded both sides the most cover and concealment while greatly restricting the movement of personnel. ESC radicals attacked the PDF with improvised explosives, a makeshift flamethrower, and grenades. A Z-9 helicopter was fired upon and had to take evasive maneuvers. Despite such setbacks, the battle ended after three hours following the deployment of incendiary weapons by PDF reinforcements.

All occupiers were killed in the action with none left alive. The Ministry of Investigations was subsequently tasked with safeguarding and transporting the bodies, which, according to the local medical examiner's office, numbered at around 402 people. Among the dead was the leader of the Ezo Salvation Commission Enomoto Toshizō, who had been killed by a bullet through the neck.

Let's hope the the darkest hour comes before the dawn

The loss of Prince Harold and now HM The Queen contribute to the deep sense of gloom, felt even before these events for our nation. With victory in India and Burma, Britain should be on a high, but the cost in treasure and blood of that war cannot be made up for with parades or medals. Inflation, fuel costs, a continuing housing crises and proposed strikes continue this sense of darkness.

We are utterly spent.

When The Queen was born, the British Empire still held sway over more than a quarter of the globe. The sun never set, the Navy ruled the waves. As she passes, the last vestiges of that Empire continue to consider their relationship with Britain, Fiji just the latest and almost certainly going to declare independence after the upcoming election. Globalisation, geography and decline mean that the generational memory of commonwealth continues to wane.

What the ordinary Briton got from that Imperial toil has never been clear; some nice buildings, trinkets in museums, a railway network that has not been maintained since by the looks of it, some nice statues?

We are also, of course, still expected three generations since to reckon with the excesses and sins of our ruling class. These are undeniable facts, the record is clear. Although why other Empires don’t seem to be held to the same level of scrutiny will always be an unanswered question.

As the queen’s death was announced, rainbows hung over both Windsor and Buckingham Palace. Let’s hope they herald better days ahead.

Downtown Helsinki

A black Mercedes escorted by a number of police vehicles made its way through the wide and largely clear streets of Helsinki, the Cruesnian coat of arms prominently displayed in the place where a plate number should have been.

Inside the armored sedan were President Trelles and Prime Minister Karjalainen. Both were on their way to Karjalainen’s official residence, the Kesäranta after attending and speaking in an event in the University of Helsinki.

“Those students were terribly bored a couple of minutes into the seminar, weren’t they?” Trelles asked Karjalainen.

“I’m pretty sure we ourselves never found sitting and listening for hours entertaining,” the prime minister answered. “But that’s everyday for us so,”

The car slowed and pulled up into the driveway leading into the villa. Minutes later, Trelles and Karjalainen were seated in the prime minister’s office.

The Kesäranta
5:47 PM

“Alright, what do we have to talk about?” Karjalainen asked, smiling as she sat.

“Well, I just wanted to know a few things. How’s it going with the implementation of our commitments with the Kalmar Union and the North European Council?” Trelles responded, sipping a mug of warm water.

The prime minister fiddled with her laptop for a moment, then turned it to face the president. The screen showed Foreign Affairs Minister Laine in a border crossing with the Kalmar Union, with cars in the background freely passing through.

“Minister Laine spoke to me and said she had successfully implemented visa-free entry for Kalmar residents, albeit they still need to present passports and answer a few forms. Moreover, an inside source in Romanovskaya told me Prime Minister Shchegolyayeva is considering joining the NEC.”

Pressing the right arrow button, the screen showed Economic Minister Riitta Kursula speaking with Kalmar businessmen. “Economic exchanges with the Kalmarians also exploded since you signed Cruesnia into the NEC. They’re finding our strong market and economy great in the near future.”

Karjalainen showed a few more photographs about favorable developments while Trelles nodded in approval. “How about the situation at Solovetsky? Have we taken care of the dissent properly?”

“Things are peaceful there for now, as well as in the Arkhangelsk Krusskiy region. The peacekeeping forces we sent in are doing their job.”

“Good. Going back on that inside source of ours in Romanovskaya, I’m intent on paying Shchegolyayeva a state visit. Maybe that would speed up the process of our neighbor joining the NEC. Tell Laine to send Shchegolyayeva a letter announcing my intent. I trust that she’d accept it.”

“Will do, Mr. President,” Karjalainen smilingly replied.

After a little over an hour discussing state matters, Trelles bid goodbye.

“Is there anything else I can help you with?”

“I think that is all there is at the moment. Thank you for having me,” Trelles said, shaking the prime minister’s hand before he was escorted out of Karjalainen’s office by bodyguards.

The government of Lumipang is interested in resuming relations with Yaratona as it reopens after the isolated period of internal struggles. Gabriella Tesoro has been named as the ambassador to Yaratona. We look forward to cooperation in the future between our nations as we have a shared and similar history as post-colonial independent nations.

Representatives of both the Central African Workers' Party (PTC) and Shomari Onwudiwe have both arrived in the City of Mbuji-Mayi; as both sides prepare for long-anticipated talks in hopes of brining a peaceful end to the Katanga Crisis.

We will not know the outcome of said discussions until an official announcement from President Kimbangu once talks are concluded; and with strong demands and resistances expected from both sides many are unsure as to how long such talks will last, with estimates ranging from hours to days.

Mbuyi-Mayi Accords

Kimbangu:
Before we start, i would like to thank the Imperatrix Augusta for coming all this way to act as a mediator for this discussions; i am happy to welcome such an honoured guest in the hopes that all gathered here wish only for a peaceful resolution to this conflict. I would also like to thank Comrade Kabatuswila for offering his province as a neutral ground for us to host this discussion.

Lastly, i extend my thanks to Comrade Onwudiwe; in my many years as President of this union i heard much of your years as Commander of the Katanga Gendarmerie; the loyalty your soldiers show to you is a testament to that. I have much respect for you and wish we could have met under better circumstances. That being said, the current situation has ground this nation to a halt, i can tell you truly care about this union so i hope that you will act in the best interests of the people of this nation while we have this chance.

Onwudiwe
President Kimbangu. I first and foremost would like to once again re-iterate my loyalty to the nation; i did what i did out of love for my people and a wish to see them liberated. Out of loyalty to the party and a desire to cut the heads off the corrupt snakes that lurk within. I remain a proud citizen of Central Africa, and i only wish to see us restored to the greatness when this union first began. Some may say i acted rashly, but strong action and a firm hand is exactly what this nation needs in a time of such strife.

(he looks back to his aide, who hands him a few papers). I believe we should distract ourselves no further, i have here a list of demands that i wish for this government to meet. If all demands are accepted i will willingly relinquish control of Haut-Katanga. But i will not willingly allow my home to return to the chaos and corruption of Asari-Dokubo.

I and my people were only acting out of love for the nation; there are some in your government who call us traitors, but are we really traitors if we only acted to save this nation. You must show you are willing to work with us; I wish for assurances that me and my people will not suffer for what we have done.

The party must admit that it is I who have the support of the people, and must recognise the true result of the gubernatorial elections by appointing me as Governor. I will then act to restore true, fair and just government to the province so that we can put our wealth to use for the benefit of the people and not to line the pockets of Gecamines officials.

As governor, i wish to be granted emergency legal powers within the jurisdiction of my province, as a precursor to a greater expansion of judiciary powers to provincial governments and an eventual expansion of powers in the National Gendarmerie to act against corrupt party officials. A tribunal will be set up to investigate those accused in the corruption scandal and persecute those who are found to have had involvement; charged with crimes against the people and given the highest sentence possible.

President Kimbangu, by calling this summit you have shown that you are willing to hear my demands, and here they are. I ask that you make the right choice and allow me to purge this nation of those who would do us harm.

The PDFEMO has authorised the construction of 3 Type 004E nuclear supercarriers for the PDFNF, valued cumulatively at $12.5 billion USD. The 3 contracted builders are the Jiangnan Shipyard, DSME, and Hanjin Heavy Industries.

Modernised, domestic components will be integrated into the Type 004E design to replace American components.

The 3 supercarriers will be built concurrently and ready for service in 3 years' time. Upon its commissioning, it will replace the PDFNF's Type 002 and Type 002K 'Beiyang' aircraft carriers. The PDFEMO intends to transfer these superseded carriers to its allies within the Global security association.

People's Defence Force - Global security association

The PDF has announced it would be transferring 2 of its aircraft carriers to other GSA navies following the completion of 3 new Type 004E nuclear supercarriers. The 2 transferred carriers are to be the Type 002 and Type 002K fixed-wing aircraft carriers.

The 2 carriers will be transferred for a token consideration of $200,000 USD.

The 3 Type 004Es will make port calls across the FEUSSR later this month for a series of visits, packed with celebrations and engagement with the local community. People will also be able to step on board over weekends.

OOC: A note on the FEUSSR's carrier classifications.

The carrier classifications for its aircraft carriers IRL have changed over time since 2019-2020. Various types of carriers have been mentioned throughout this time, which include:

Type 001: the OG, former Soviet Varyag carrier.

Type 001A: as of 28/5/2019, the Type 001A was known to be the Type 001's successor class. However, in December 2019, it was reclassified from the Type 001A into the Type 002 following the commissioning of the Shandong.

Type 002: as of 17/10/2019 the successor class to the Type 001A was unofficially referred to as the Type 002. The post linked here mentions the existence of integrated electric propulsion and electromagnetic catapults, which corresponds to the carrier Fujian. Following the reclassification of the Shandong (Type 001A to the Type 002) in late 2019, the Type 002 (as it was then called) became the Type 003.

Type 002K: a derivative of the Kiev-class aircraft cruiser, albeit with significantly less armed features. The Kiev IRL had 6-8 twin SAM launchers and 8 CIWS guns, whereas the Type 002K only has 4 SAM launchers and 4 CIWS guns. IRL 2 Kievs were sold and 1 was broken up in what is currently the FEUSSR's claim.

Type 003: corresponds with the IRL Type 004. Again, because of the IRL reclassification, it's one number off, and is a domestic nuclear carrier design.

Type 003, again: a later post makes reference to a second Type 003. This is not the same as the above specimen, but rather corresponds to the IRL Type 003 (i.e: the Fujian).

Type 004N: a typo. Meant to spell Type 004E.

Effective immediately, the Type 003 (IRL the Type 004) is voided for want of compliance with Rule 20. This places the PDFNF's current arsenal of aircraft carriers to be 3 Type 004Es, 1 Type 003, 1 Type 002K, and 1 Type 002, the latter two of which will be transferred out anyways.
