I'd like to take this arbitrary moment in history as an opportunity to once again plug our faction Canopy, standing at less than -29k points and second-for-last, and recommend everyone who has the time or energy this Sunday to join and build shields and contribute to this noble cause and make Forest great again.

I tried, I made some shields last night, then woke up this morning as a smoldering crater. Oh well, I always liked zday better anyway.

It's incredible how unfun N-Day is. I'm glad I decided not to participate this year.

Lord Dominator wrote:On that note, I apologize to everyone I bumped from region #1 rankings on my return in most of the “negative” and industry stats :p

Welcome back! Every story needs a villain or two :P

Siornor wrote:It's absurd how much easier it is to get into the top 1% globally for anything good than it is to get into the top 5% regionally here. Forest is such a powerhouse.

Being top 5% in weather and environmental beauty barely get you in the top half of Forest. It's going to be a long time until I get decent regional rankings.

Horsemen of the Apocalypse has become an unstoppable force and our faction has been almost obliterated.
I'll try my best to raise our score a bit since I came a bit late.

Can you add the ambassadors of the regions to Forest to this list. As it makes making the guest list to my next cocktail party a lot easier.......

Daarwyrth, Lord Dominator, and Garbelia

ATTENTION!!! NEW ORDERS FOR ALL N-DAY PARTICIPANTS (and hopefully some of you who are not!)

EVERYONE Please move to CANNOPY COMMAND BUNKER (yes Canopy is misspelled) ASAP and prepare for what's perhaps the most important half hour of our existence.

Well, that is the curtain on N-Day for this year. I'm pleased to announce that our bunker faction has finished 22nd place and Top Of the No Radiation Leaderboard!!
We may not have had thousands of puppets, but we had a dedicated group, and smart decisions by my fellows in Canopy Command. From deploying 27k shields in 5 minutes and taking no radiation for the first 6 hours, to that crazy, insane finish, the trees never gave up!

.... We also had to evacuate the first faction after it was utterly obliterated. But hey, think of it like the driving test, just because you don't pass the first time around doesn't make succeeding the second time around satisfying.

Good evening,

If you'd be so kind, could whoever the leading officer involved in Canopy reach out to me and explain what happened with one of my officers?

Oh great my NS is back, apparently NS decided to cease to exist whenever I tried to get on the last couple of days where all my devices couldn't find the NS proxy server for whatever reason. Maybe something to do with the N day traffic I'm not sure.

Yep, I'll telegram you.

You could also stop ducking my DMs too homie.

Spent all day typing out a gender/noun class/noun classifier system that may or may not be remotely plausible. Going to sleep having made a circular callender/clock; really looking forward to eventually releasing this guy.

Unfortunately between this and N-Day I have procrastinated my studies majorly, so... probably won't be for another good few days at least. xD
(Not to mention I haven't even begun thinking about how the months or weekdays would be named... it's gonna be fun regardless.

GOD **** IT I MISSED N-DAY. Man not my fault I had a cross country meet the same day!

McClandia Doge 2 wrote:GOD **** IT I MISSED N-DAY. Man not my fault I had a cross country meet the same day!

One day, Doge. One day. :')

(For the record imo you're not missing too much.)

There's always next year... 5th times the charm! There's also still Z-Day so I definitely will try and not miss that.(Although not trying to get my hopes up for that)

A runner! How'd you do?

McClandia Doge 2 wrote:GOD **** IT I MISSED N-DAY. Man not my fault I had a cross country meet the same day!

Mark your calendar for February 25, 2023 as that's the date for N-day8.

Actually, since we're on the subject - how is everyone feeling about Z-Day?

Y'guys all wanna go the same route, i.e. try to have as few deaths and no-zombies as possible while having open borders?

Or y'guys feelin' something different, or would rather not participate this year?

It is a great period in the history of the Ecologist Hegemony:
Scientific Advancement, Information Technology, Authoritarianism, Defense Forces and Ideological Radicality are rising significantly and all of this without harming the environment!

Continuing on this line, we have been drafting some vague ideas, but filling the roles of Statistician and Events Coordinator would really help.
There will probably be a poll a couple of weeks before the event just to gauge interest and preferred tactics. One thing that has definitely already been considered is expanding on RP around the event, to give it more meaning than pressing buttons.

I've always felt that if that you're taking part then you really need to be working on the cure. If you go down the embrace route then the result at the end of the event is exactly the same as if you hadn't even taken part.

If I want to click a bunch of times, I'll play Solitaire.

I believe in open borders generally, so sure.

Jutsa wrote:Or y'guys feelin' something different, or would rather not participate this year?

Make it Doom and I'll play.

It seems Lugnan just missed the nuclear apocalypse. Our people didn't even notice! Best country ever.
