So the way Boris Johnson went out and how the Tories began to fizzle afterwards is what I think will happen with MAGA (unless Trump does something drastic to solidify his rule).
After/If Trump goes after his second term I imagine the MAGA group will flail a little in finding a replacement. They might look to his vice president or another similar Trump like figure. However if this person does not have the charisma (as we saw with Liz Truss) then they may prove unpopular. Followed by a somewhat self serving figure like Rishi Sunak. Not necessarily in a row, I imagine democratic presidents will intersperse this period but I think MAGA will only die when Trump leaves and potentially dies (because he can still endorse and campaign after all).
That’s one prediction. But I see Johnson as a similar figure. Narcissistic and charismatic.
They won the presidency.
They won the Senate.
They might win the House.
They have a majority of governors.
And the President appoints Supreme Court Justices.
Republicans might be in control of all three branches of government.
The next two years are going to be a conservative paradise.
