I'd have said she avoided the elephant in the room, namely Catholicism, as the fundamental unifier for an Irish conservative political party.
But she didn't.
She actually went out of the way to mention it.
So she could reject it.

Talk about a lost movement.
Her sources here are an American historian and a British conservative. I wish them their own Catholic based conservative movements as a solution to their own political troubles.

...at the end the elected turns out to be some woman man who is heading for gender 'surgery'.
