Dali, how would you go about cooking a duck?

Dali, if your coup wheel was broken, what medium would you use to randomly select your next target?

What is your favorite painting?

Jar Wattinree wrote:Dali, how would you go about cooking a duck?

I'd have to first make sure the duck wasn't a particularly influential duck. God help me if I try to cook a duck and then all of a sudden it honks at me and kicks me into a different region!

Otherwise, pluck and roll the duck around for a bit, season it, cover in tin foil, put it in the oven for around 2 hours at 350F, uncover the tin foil and let it continue to roast for another half hour to 40 minutes to make the skin crispy.

Now I'm getting hungry.

I'd pour myself a very strong drink, take a big sip, spin myself and then wave the glass in a direction. If I'm pointing north, then TNP. South, TSP. Etc. If I'm facing up, then NPO. Down, and it's one of the sinkers and then I'll probably have a upset stomach.

Obviously The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali.

What is your favorite medium for music?

What has been your least favorite NS drama?

BalderSanity wrote:What is your favorite medium for music?

There's something a bit nostalgic in me about putting a rock cassette into an old truck's cassette player and then going on a road trip.

I'd rather have to go on the PR offensive during a coup, or the PR defensive when RLA was forum destroying, than have to deal with anything to do with Cormac. I wish him well in retirement.

What has been the most fun you've had on NS? Do you regret Anything you've done so far?

What advice would you give to a new NSer?

What things would you tell someone new to NS to not do?

The most fun it the game I've had in years is when I was Guardian in TWP. Compared to the duties and responsibilities I faced while Delegate of TNP and Osiris, the Guardianship in the West provided me with enough "power" and "influence" in the region where I could actually be useful and productive, while ensuring I had fun by purging whenever I wanted and not have to worry about people calling for my head.

My ultimate regret is not changing Moo's password on him when he let me have his nation for a few hours to keep an eye on The Pacific for him. History would have changed so much.

If they can't escape immediately, then my main advice is to listen to your elders! We've been around the block several times, have seen practically everything in this basic game, and can provide context and reasons as to why things are the way they are currently. Plus, old farts are fun.

Do you have a favourite drink Dali?

Xoriet wrote:What things would you tell someone new to NS to not do?

Not to be an edgelord, not to try to do everything at once, and not to take the game too seriously.

Although I drink wine like it's water, my absolute favourite drink is a Rusy Nail. A Rusty Nail is 1 1/2 oz of scotch and 3/4 oz of Drambuie over a couple rocks. Very simple yet absolutely delicious, especially if you're sitting in a leather chair by a fireplace.

If you had one opportunity to go and introduce a new feature to NS, what would you do, Dalimbar?

biggest regret is loosing my original classification. I have been trying to get it back for a long time now.
biggest fun is writing (or constantly thinking about finally writing) your fact book and roleplaying with others

Besides get rid of Influence? The thing we, in 2006, said was to kill the game?

I'm very wary and cautious when it comes to game mechanics changes, as a believer in the game mechanically derived election system for delegacies, which just happen to be tied to the GA/SC. My view will always be GCR-centric as these nine regions have been the areas where I have spent most of my time in this game. I've been with the feeders and sinkers to establish autonomy away from the perception that we are merely troughs for userites to feed from. I've celebrated seeing GCRs take the lead in the game, as I feel that the inherent "permanent" nature of the GCRs makes them the more political of regions.

I have to work to completely change a GCR.

That being said, I believe Koth's Factions idea is one of the best and non-apocalyptic suggestions to improving the game. I fear Sedgeland.

Hello lovely Balderans! For those that don't know, I'm the minister of engagement and culture for Balder! I would like to introduce a gameside contest that anyone can participate in. The contest is very simple!

All you have to do is
1. Like this post
2. Endorse our handsome Delegate North East Somerset

It's that simple!

It sounds too easy, doesn't it? I know! So that's why you should definitely do it. Easy peasy. And there's a prize!

Of course there's a prize.

The winner of the contest will be chosen at random, from someone that has liked this post and endorsed the delegate! The winner will get to choose what flag our region flies for 48 hours! It could be your nation flag, how neat would that be?

The contest will run from now until October 16th. If 300 endorsements aren't reached by October 16th, the competition is void.

*All flags must follow site rules and cannot represent another region or organization.
