Welcome to ASEAN! :D

what are some of your nation's (original) holidays? i have a ton to celebrate yearly

Hofflands wrote:what are some of your nation's (original) holidays? i have a ton to celebrate yearly

The primary holidays of Masalaya include:
• Day of the Proclamation of the kingdom, where we celebrate that our nation was founded
• various Indigenous festivals, like the so-called "Sarakiki-Hadang festival" or "Sinulog"
• "Wiesen", the Austrian form of "Oktoberfest"
among others :)

I apparently missed the "original" part... oops.

Well, of course Day of the Proclamation of the kingdom and the Festival of Light, a festival where streets and public spaces all over the kingdom are lit up in many colours and little night stands that sell food pop up everywhere. There is music and performances in all parts of Masalaya's cities. It brings in thousands of tourists each year! Come and celebrate this festival of joy with us sometime (after the Pandemic of course)! 🎆🎇🎉
