Also I'd be interested in learning how the Sports stuff is done, it's not something I've ever looked into. Tyzkya doesn't strike me as a typical 'Sports' country, at least not from the lore I've written. I think hunting/target/drill shooting would probably be the closest things to sports there. If that's a thing great! If not, I'm happy to be the Region's team of plucky underdogs that just can't seem to catch a win. That's more fun to RP as anyway.

Sports is definitely our main RP angle, but we'll often work political and other worldbuilding topics into sports RPing. At present we hold a regional football (soccer) tournament, the current edition is ongoing here:

Many of us also participate in larger international tournaments in football, baseball, basketball, ice hockey, and others, though we haven't had a regional tournament in another sport in a little while.
As far as a map, Farfadillis has been our cartographer in the past. Arrosia was formed by a group of us who moved together from a previous region, and iirc Farf had been working on adapting/adjusting the old map.
Maaaan, and I thought War RPs were complicated. I'm gonna keep it a buck, I'm probably not gonna be a really active sports guy. I don't know what sort of RP I could do in the political/world building sector, but I'll do my best. Is there anything I could do that'd help facilitate that? Maybe I should host a state dinner? Joint-Military Exercise? Scavenger Hunt?
Running a tournament can be a handful, but participating is easier than it looks. Some of us have a lot of detail built up, but it's certainly not necessary. There have certainly been state dinners, military exercises and probably even a scavenger hunt or two written about in the threads for various tournaments. Thing is, we generally have pretty limited involvement outside of the Sports forum, we tend to do those other things within the context of sport. People definitely don't feel a need to limit themselves to match summaries though. There have been wars, revolutions, elections, royal marriages, and all kinds of other events written about in various tournament RP threads.
So you're certainly welcome to join us here, just know that we are first and foremost a sports rp region.
That's fair, I just don't think it's really my speed. I'll look elsewhere, but I appreciate you guys being so cool all the same! I'll see you guys on the flip side!
