Magelang 16th July | : “The Ngayogyakartan Sultanate was shook with the sudden appearance of a pretender and claimant to the Mataram Throne by a man named Orhan Purabaya Dimataram, who claims to be the long-lost elder brother of Sultanah Hamengkubuwono XIII and asserts his right to the Yogyakartan throne as the firstborn heir. Prince Orhan claimed he was separated from the Royal Family during his Childhood, from obscurity he Declared that his lineage entitles him to the throne. Even with the claim, Sultanah Hamengkubuwono XIII continues her reign with full support from the royal court and the Yogyakartan Legions, who hold her in High regard for her leadership. Yogyakartan historians and Royal experts have been called upon to investigate the legitimacy of the man’s claims.
Prince Orhan led a campaign of Slanders against the Monarch, and supported by Conservatives both from the Family who believes the throne should be held by a male heir, these factions, along with segments of Yogyakartan Society sharing the same beliefs, began rallying around Orhan.
The Royal Court issued a statement, dismissing Orhan’s slanders as baseless and reaffirming the Sultanah’s legitimate claim to the throne. Meanwhile, experts was tasked in uncovering the truth behind Orhan’s sudden reappearance and his alleged Royal Bloodline. Many believe that this internal struggle could escalate into a larger conflict within Yogyakarta, with the royal family’s future hanging in the balance as the investigation into Orhan’s identity unfolds.”
