The Sarvanian Independent: Cutting Through Propaganda One Article At A Time

With the onslaught of propaganda from the royalist and toraist sides, many at home and abroad are finding a hard time getting neutral, unbias information about the war. So we, a small group of journalists, have established this newspaper to help.

The Battle of Donjce turned to the toraists after months of fighting. The costliest battle of the conflict so far saw the royalists take a major blow when Zrinko III, the leader of the royalist forces, was killed by a sniper when trying to escape a firefight. Antali VIII, Zrinko III's brother, has taken up the task of commanding the royalist forces, but Zrinko III's death is a huge blow to the royalist forces both in terms of moral and strategically.

While those in Zaggrad wept at the news of Zrinko III, Toraists rejoiced. Zrinko III gained a brutal reputation among the Toraist forces, earning the nickname "The Butcher of Donjce". Whether Zrinko III was as brutal as they say or if this is just another piece of propaganda we don't know.

Toraists also made more good news come their way, as new equipment and reinforcements have come from Sozkana, greatly aiding in their fight. Although they lost precious soldiers in Donjce to either death, disease, or capturement by royalist forces, Davor Bojević, the Toraist military's leader, seems emboldened now and launched a massive offensive spearheaded by tanks and armored fighting vehicles, aimed directly at Zaggrad. Time will tell if this will succeed.
