The Histarctican imperial family has announced plans for an extensive state visit, during which they will travel to the various confederate systems. Emperor Conrad II, 45, will join his wife, Empress Hizia, and their 15-year-old son and heir, Prince Harald, on the tour. The visit aims to strengthen ties between the empire and the rest of the confederation, as well as to celebrate the cultural and political connections between the different systems.

The state visits are planned to include official ceremonies, meetings with local leaders, and participation in cultural events that demonstrate the diversity and unity of the confederation. It is also expected that the imperial family will meet with citizens and show their commitment to the common future perspective that is central to the confederation.

The exact program of the visit has not yet been announced, but it is considered a historic event.

The UCP Consul Whiskany invites the former UCP Consul and family to the capital for a ceremony along with all heads of state.

The Dark Empire of Whiskany invites the Histarctican family to the Sithari-Voladay Festival and to the Whiskanian capital.

Asmoria Prime is under strict no entrance policy at the moment. Any Heads of State that desire to visit, MUST make an appointment.

The Leftovers

The flash of the massive plasma cannons from H.I.M.S. Protector had barely subsided before it was all over. The bombardment had not only obliterated Terminus II, but also most of the complex tunnel systems beneath Mount Anrock. For 15 minutes the planet's surface shook, and when the smoke and dust finally settled, all life in the area seemed extinct.

Val-Itani Industries, stripped of all control, watched from a safe distance. Everything they had invested in the colony was now gone - technologies, resources, and any chance of laying claim to the planet's rich mineral deposits without Imperial approval. For the Val-Itani, it was not only a financial loss, but also a shameful admission of their defeat to the Empire. But the defeat is no greater than that Val-Itani Industries has maintained their right to the planet's resources.

Once the remains had cooled, Imperial Marines landed in the outer reaches of Mount Anrock to begin a meticulous investigation. Drones and infantry were sent into the craters, crevices, and remains of the complex, but found only ash, charred steel structures, and collapsed tunnel systems. The bio-organic life that had previously threatened colonists and military forces alike had vanished without a trace.

As Imperial analysts attempted to understand the consequences of the destruction, new data reached military command. This analysis—based on previous discoveries from Terminus II, the deep mines, and the internal planetary structure of Lictarx, as well as Confederate intelligence—suggested that the mysterious bio-organic entity and energy structure might be related to the Ancients, a mythical civilization whose technology was known to be erratic and destructive.

The Ancients were an almost mythological subject among scientists and historians in the Agalun sector. According to previous Confederate reports, the Ancients had mastered a technology far beyond Confederate understanding—a technology that was often bio-organic in nature, creating a connection with what had been discovered under Mount Anrock.

The Histarctican theory proposed that the bio-organic entity and growths encountered by the expedition could be:

An ancient bio-weapons platform designed to adapt to and take over hostile environments. Some form of automatic defense mechanism activated by Histarctican intrusion. Or perhaps an intelligent, planetary biosphere designed to evolve and control itself as an integral part of a larger planetary strategy.

Although the theory was speculative, its implications were serious. If the Ancients had indeed left behind weapons or defense systems on Lictarx, similar discoveries could await elsewhere in the sector. This meant that Lictarx was possibly just the tip of the iceberg in a much larger context.

The Imperial Marines who explored Mount Anrock found no sign of the mutated creatures or the massive bio-organic structure that the expedition had reported before the bombardment. It had all disappeared – perhaps vaporized in the extreme heat of the bombardment or, as some speculated, drawn deeper into the planet’s subsurface.

A single Marine patrol did report something strange, however. In a ravine near one of the mines, they found small, pulsating bio-organic fragments that appeared to have survived. The fragments were immediately collected and sealed in a shielded laboratory for further analysis.

At the same time, scans detected signs of irregular energy fields deep beneath the planet’s crust – field lines reminiscent of those from Mount Anrock, but extending across the entire planet’s internal structure. It was as if the entire Lictarx was functioning as a gigantic energy network, perhaps designed to channel or accumulate power in a way that modern technology could barely comprehend.

Reminder to The unitary state of erudito and Staircasevania that you are encouraged by the Constitution to endorse Whiskany as the elected WA Delegate.

Histarctica wrote:Congratulations on the appointment, which will only benefit AAM. We hope for continued good friendship - which may develop even more in the long term?

Of course! I look forward to maintaining and growing our friendship both between our nations and indeed our regions.

I will present a new draft of the military reform tomorrow - but I seem to have problems getting on the site??

Hello

NEW DRAFT FOR A MILITARY REFORM

Military Reorganization Act

§ 1. Purpose
The purpose of this Act is to reorganize the Confederate Defence Force to streamlining military command, strengthening coordination at the confederate level and ensuring a clear division of military and civilian responsibilities.

§ 2. Dissolution of Military Branches

The following military branches are hereby dissolved:
a. Confederate Navy
b. Confederate Marines
c. Military Intelligence
d. Exploration Corps
e. Engineer Corps

All existing tasks and resources shall be distributed and integrated, as specified in this Act, under the Secretariat for Defense and the Secretariat for Exploration.

§ 3. Transfer of Exploration Corps Duties

The duties of the Exploration Corps are transferred to the Secretariat for Exploration, more precisely the Exploration Committee.
This is to support the Exploration Committee's already existing constitutional responsibilities.

The Exploration Committee is the advisory and communicative link between confederate member systems regarding:

a. Development, expansion and maintenance of the Confederate Long-Range Interstellar Routes (LRIR).
b. Exploration of uncharted space.

This amendment is intended to clarify that the Secretariat for Exploration has responsibility at the confederate level for exploration-related activities and the maintenance of space routes instead of the Secretariat for Defence.

§ 4. Organization of the Confederate Military

The following one committee and two commands will be established under the Secretariat for Defence:

a. Military Intelligence Committee

The Military Intelligence Committee coordinates the Confederacy's overall intelligence submitted to confederate authority by confederate member systems and disseminates it between member systems and other confederate authorities.

The Military Intelligence Committe is an advisory as well as an information- and communication-based unit without operational powers.

The members of the Military Intelligence Committe (3) are appointed by the Secretary of Defence.

b. Senate Guard Command

The Senate Guard remains an integral part of the Secretariat for Defence as a military life guard responsible for the security of the Senators and the Senate.

c. Command for Strategy and Military Operations

The Command for Strategy and Military Operations consists of five members, two of whom are reserved for the Secretary of Defense and the Grand Admiral, and the last three are elected by the Senate.
The authority of the Command for Strategy and Military Operations comes into force when there is war involving the Confederacy as a whole.

The Command for Strategy and Military Operations is assigned the responsibility of mobilizing and uniting the military resources of the Confederacy, which member systems are constitutionally obligated to deploy to the best of their ability, and of coordinating strategic military operations in war situation to ensure a well-executed war effort on behalf of the best interests of the Confederacy.

The decisions of the Command for Strategy and Military Operations are made in cooperation with the military authorities of the confederate member systems.

The Confederacy has no standing military force beyond the Senate Guard, but in war, both offensive and defensive at the Confederate level, the Command for Strategy and Military Operations steps in to form the Confederate Defence Force from the available military resources from the confederate member systems.

§ 5. Limitation of the Military Autonomy of the Member Systems

No member system has the right to launch offensive war operations that would involve the rest of the Confederacy in a major conflict without:

a. Mandate from the Senate.
b. Coordination with the Command for Strategy and Military Operations.

new legislation would also be introduced that would de regulate Faerun trade and slightly lower tarriffs.

the Faerun Dominion would mobilize Battlegroup Grenai and 8 S.O.D.A.S.T Battalions and send them towards the Miblif system,as they have agreed to send the force there to begin strategizing and prepare to protect supply lines and trade shipping from Gol raids.
