Lacon Sleeper Agent Urgent Update
Sleeper 1 acting under his "own orders" reports back to Whiskanian command that he has successfully carried out his mission. The agent states his mission was the assassination of the Laconian leader. It appears this agent has successfully transmitted a deadly Laconian illness to their leader and it moved quickly.
Chatter is backing this up as there is high unrest in the Lacon Empire.
Project stalker in the dark would be given the greenlight, planning on using current technologies in FTL and stealth cloaking together with several planned advancements in satellite imagery and planetary scale scanning. The project aims to primarily gather information,intelligence and possibly establish contact with the aliens of The Hive of Darunia. Senate Bill Proposal: UCP Trade Agreement/Travel
Point/Purpose: Open trade avenues between UCP members that are not currently trading or have existing trade routes.
Trade: Free trade agreements on non-proprietary goods between UCP members.
- Proprietary goods are not mandated to be a part of the UCPFTA but can be elected to be a part of it by the holding member to the capacity they see fit. i.e. Free traded, Low Tax or other.
Travel: Free travel between member citizens systems.
- This excludes designated exceptions such as war torn systems, expeditionary systems and approved planets by the department of assessment. Designations of systems and planets must be submitted with cause for
approval.
- This does not open your borders for unfiltered migration/immigration as member systems have varying immigration laws that will be respected.
I thought that was a given fact of being part of the Confederation organization? I'm for trade with fellow members. Free travel not so much, only because The Asmor Federation is a militarized state, with mass restrictions, so only certain ones are even allowed to see whats "beyond the fence".

The Histarctican trade delegation - accompanied by a fleet group - has arrived in Whiskanian-controlled space and has met with Whiskanian representatives to resolve the situation that has arisen around star system 1210, which someone within the Confederation has referred to as a huge political issue that may have major consequences. But Trade Commissioner, Corrad Valreos, from 
Histarctica, has referred to the situation as "quite harmless".
Nevertheless, the two delegations are now involved in a meeting regarding the fate of the 1210 system but also the 1010 system.
Furthermore, it is rumored that the Histarctican imperial heir, the only 15-year-old Prince Harald Aertaris, will be sent to the Whiskanian homeworld on his first official visit before the prince is due to enter the Confederate Grand Academy in a few years.
Collapse of the Gabios Federation?
The Gabios Federation, a relatively small but economically strong trading power on the fringes of the Agalun sector, has been plunged into a political crisis that threatens the stability of interplanetary society. A Gabiosian militant rebel movement, called the "Warriors of Gol", has established a base in the Gol system near the strategically important space trade route between the Gabios Federation and the United Confederation of Planets.
The so-called Warriors of Gol have taken a hard line against the Gabiosian Government, accusing them of being "socially corrupt" and pacifist in their leadership. The movement has a military-authoritarian structure and expresses a radical criticism of the current regime, which they believe has failed Gabiosian values. With the Gol system as their base, the Warriors of Gol have carried out several pirate attacks against Gabiosian merchant ships, resulting in the loss of valuable trade goods and disruption.
So far, the Gabiosian Government has assured their population and the interplanetary community that the situation is under control. However, there is a slight concern as some Gabiosian merchant ships have already reported losses as a result of the pirates' actions. The Gabiosian Government's statement emphasized that they will take the necessary measures to protect Gabios' commercial interests and maintain stability in the sector.
Despite the escalation of the crisis, no confederate ships have been directly attacked by the rebel forces, but the situation is being closely monitored by diplomats and defense strategy experts. According to sources close to the Confederacy, any threat to confederate interests is likely to lead to a coordinated effort to secure space and trade routes in the sector.
With rebel forces continuing to put pressure on the Gabios Federation, and a fragile alliance between Gabios and the Confederation at stake, the future of the Agalun sector may become more uncertain than ever.

INTRODUCTION
The focus of the roleplay and the United Confederation of Planets is the Agalun Sector, located in a galaxy similar to our own.
The roleplay focus on politics, economics and interaction between the member systems of the UCP consisting of a variety of species, as well as space exploration and the encounter with friendly and hostile alien space civilizations.
The roleplay gives the individual player great freedom in developing and forming their space nation, its people, government, culture and so on. However, we expect - collectively - that things will be kept moderate and subdued as far as possible in order to make room for all degrees of activity and diversity in each of our approach to this region and roleplay.
UNDERSTAND THE STAR MAP
By following the above link to the star map, you will be forwarded to an external page with a map divided into 20x20 hexagons. Some of the hexagons have white dots in the middle and/or are connected to a colored line.
The white dots symbolize a star system. By clicking on a white dot, the star system's name, possible affiliation and other information about the system will appear.
The lines symbolize established routes or long-distance interstellar space routes, which enable fast travel between the systems the route passes through. The colors indicate the affiliation of the route in question, if the route is white, it is either a natural or disputed route.
Space travel that does not take place on an established space route therefore takes much longer to complete, and far from optimal for mortals, which means that establishing and discovering of space routes is highly valuable. However, a star system adjacent to another star system is much easier and faster to access than if there is a blank hexagon between the star systems - and if two neighboring star systems are either in the same faction or both have reached the space tech, then fast space travel will automatically be an option.

The Lacon Empire, is a humanoid space technological and military species which has established itself as a strong regional power in the Agalun Sector from their home star system of Coldec.
The Hive of Darunia [NPC] _____
An insect-like species that, from its hive in the Cassia star system, is apparently friendly and very nature-oriented. However, much is unknown about Darunia, and it is not yet known whether Cassia is their home or simply a colony in a much larger star realm.
The Gabios Federation [NPC] _____
From their homeworld in the star system of Vlux, on the outer edge of the sector, the humanoid Gabios Federation has established itself as a minor mainly economic and trade oriented power.
The Warriors of Gol [NPC] _____
The Warriors of Gol, is a Gabiosian military-authoritarian rebel movement that, in anger at the "socially corrupt and pacifist leadership" of the Gabios Federation, has established itself in the star system of Gol in direct conflict with the established system of the Gabios Federation.
The Ancients [NPC] _____
The Ancients, a dormant giant, or a superpower that does not consider the rest of the "civilized" space nations of the Agalun Sector for being significant. Not much is known about the so-called "Ancients", other than that they have a third of the sector under their control, and perhaps the Agalun Sector is just an outer colony sector of a much larger ancient empire?
The League of Free People [NPC] _____
The League of Free People, also known as the Space Pirates, is a loose association of several groups and factions of idealists, rebels, criminals, and other people dissatisfied with the situation and society in the Agalun Sector. The League is based primarily in and around the systems of the United Confederation of Planets.
In response to the development in the Gabios Federation the Faerun Dominion would start to secretly organize several S.O.DA.S.T combat battalions while reaching out to the Gabios Federation requesting to know what is going on and inform them a representative is in the way to better understand the situation and possibly offer any needed help

Asmorian update:
An exploration fleet is being sent to sector 1410.
Construction on Asmoria Prime is 53% completed, although the work has now stalled due to the supply-shipping problems from the Gabios Federation. A Diplomatic Envoy Fleet is being sent to Gabios Federation from Asmoria.
