Histarctica in the 1210-system

Today, a reconnaissance fleet from Histarctica has made its arrival in system 1210. The fleet's task is to explore the system's potential resources and strategic value to Histarctica.

The 1210 system is located near the Dromund system, home of the Whiskany people, and current consul of the Confederation.

According to sources in Histarctica's command, system 1210 has been identified as a possible source of valuable raw materials, including rare minerals and energy sources that could be crucial to future technology development. Initial scans have shown signs of both mineral riches and potentially habitable territory, making the system a target for both exploration and potential colonization.

The coming weeks will be crucial in determining whether Histarctica's exploration mission will result in discoveries that could change the future of the system.

Lacon expands the empire

Much to the surprise of many, the Lacon Empire, despite their defeat and strict peace terms dictated by the Confederation, has managed to expand their territory with three new star systems. The expansion has raised concerns among parts of the Confederacy, while others have dismissed it as an insignificant maneuver by a weakened empire.

The Lacon Empire, recently suffering a defeat in a major conflict with the Confederacy, was forced to sign a series of restrictive peace terms, including the relinquishment of several key systems and tight restrictions on military activities. Yet, despite these terms, they have managed to secure control of three new systems, suggesting that the Empire is trying to regain some of the influence they lost during the war.

The news of this expansion has divided the Confederacy. Several members are deeply concerned that Lacon, still recovering from defeat, is showing an unexpected ability to expand his power. On the other hand, there are also those who see the actions of the Lacon Empire as insignificant. They believe that the three new systems represent no significant threat to the Confederacy's overall security or balance of power.

INTRODUCTION

The focus of the roleplay and the United Confederation of Planets is the Agalun Sector, located in a galaxy similar to our own.

The roleplay focus on politics, economics and interaction between the member systems of the UCP consisting of a variety of species, as well as space exploration and the encounter with friendly and hostile alien space civilizations.

The roleplay gives the individual player great freedom in developing and forming their space nation, its people, government, culture and so on. However, we expect - collectively - that things will be kept moderate and subdued as far as possible in order to make room for all degrees of activity and diversity in each of our approach to this region and roleplay.

UNDERSTAND THE STAR MAP

By following the above link to the star map, you will be forwarded to an external page with a map divided into 20x20 hexagons. Some of the hexagons have white dots in the middle and/or are connected to a colored line.

The white dots symbolize a star system. By clicking on a white dot, the star system's name, possible affiliation and other information about the system will appear.

The lines symbolize established routes or long-distance interstellar space routes, which enable fast travel between the systems the route passes through. The colors indicate the affiliation of the route in question, if the route is white, it is either a natural or disputed route.

Space travel that does not take place on an established space route therefore takes much longer to complete, and far from optimal for mortals, which means that establishing and discovering of space routes is highly valuable. However, a star system adjacent to another star system is much easier and faster to access than if there is a blank hexagon between the star systems - and if two neighboring star systems are either in the same faction or both have reached the space tech, then fast space travel will automatically be an option.

The Lacon Empire, is a humanoid space technological and military species which has established itself as a strong regional power in the Agalun Sector from their home star system of Coldec.

The Hive of Darunia [NPC] _____

An insect-like species that, from its hive in the Cassia star system, is apparently friendly and very nature-oriented. However, much is unknown about Darunia, and it is not yet known whether Cassia is their home or simply a colony in a much larger star realm.

The Gabios Federation [NPC] _____

From their homeworld in the star system of Vlux, on the outer edge of the sector, the humanoid Gabios Federation has established itself as a minor mainly economic and trade oriented power.

The Warriors of Gol [NPC] _____

The Warriors of Gol, is a Gabiosian military-authoritarian rebel movement that, in anger at the "socially corrupt and pacifist leadership" of the Gabios Federation, has established itself in the star system of Gol in direct conflict with the established system of the Gabios Federation.

The Ancients [NPC] _____

The Ancients, a dormant giant, or a superpower that does not consider the rest of the "civilized" space nations of the Agalun Sector for being significant. Not much is known about the so-called "Ancients", other than that they have a third of the sector under their control, and perhaps the Agalun Sector is just an outer colony sector of a much larger ancient empire?

the recent expansion by the laconians would make the secretary of defense start to draw up a official Confederate warplan based on what is known of laconian empires capabilities with several smaller continencies incase of certain events,while still under development the warplan would be dubbed warplan "Sol Nigea" or "black sun" in (insert universal language(s) of the confederacy).

despite the warplan,which is only known for high ranking confederate personnel,the Faerun Dominion reaches out to the government of the Laconian Empire,proposing to establish a embassy on their homeworld so political contact and neqotiations could be easier in the future with the Faerun Dominion saying it will pay for it and grant it zero tarrifs and low taxes to Laconian Businesses in the Faerun Dominion.

yet unbeknown to the Laconians and all of the confederacy,the Secret Intelligence Agency of the Faerun Dominion,together with its president, has a planned black ops operation,dubbed "initiative 1347", incase another war breaks out with the laconians and the confederacy with the confederacy only knowing that the embassy would be used for an attack against the government and "other facilities,operations and infastructure" but leaves out what exactly would be done incase this operation was to be activated but it is heavily suggested its some form of weapon.

The Martian Parliament has voted unanimously in raising more infantry brigades and building more ships for the further colonisation and protection of systems

The Imperial Starfleet has explored system 1210 and identified only two gas giants in the system, however, according to the first studies, both planets have a lot of moons and asteroid belts in orbit and much indicates good opportunities for mining and mineral exploitation.

The Imperial Starfleet claims this system, but has not yet established itself in the system. Val-Itani Industries has been invited to initiate industrial operations in the system.

Due to the loss of Tyrannitopia, the Histarctican Imperial Starfleet has sent a navy group to the lost system which is strategically located on a space route between the Cezza and Dromund systems.

The Imperial Commissariat has invited The Dark Empire of Whiskany to a joint fortress building project in the system under confederate authority to secure the space route to the confederate capital.
