One of my favorite artists is Ahmet Kaya (may Allah help him reach Paradise), so much of his songs are just... very personal feeling to me, akin to another artist, Barış Manço, a Anatolian Rock artist that made songs I used to listen in Arabic on casette in my home country as a 5 year old, there is so much from MENA (Middle East-North Africa) that I treasure, sadly so much of my treasure has been ruined, but music stands.

I struggle to see how that might even be remotely relevant to Volkstaat's statement.

And I found the flag on alternatehistory.com, an alternate history discussion forum which have threads for alt-hist flags, this was the most "Ernst Thalmann"-esque Bavaria related flag I found, I loved the design too.

Also, you can just refer me with VK or Bayern (it sounds cooler to me).

Thank you for sharing these artists, I'm looking them up now so I can enjoy them too <3 Music can connect us all in ways nothing else can.
Azam Ali has been a fav of mine for along time, Heilung is a spiritual experience of sound similar to Wardruna.
Cassette tapes hold a special place in my <3 for that experience is so far in the past, it nice to know we can emotionally travel there thru the music we cherish.

Understood, VK. For the record, most people here call me Agen, as a holdover from my main nation, which is sitting... somewhere I'm sure.

Back before Libya was destroyed, we had many casette and vinyl shops in Benghazi center, I would shop all day looking for songs from Turkey, Palestine, Egypt, Tunisia, ones from America, China, Russia, I remember vividly when Barış Manço's album "2023" released in 1975, my father would pick it up for 16 bucks and we would listen to it all day long while we worked on our large farm, feeding our farmhands, harvesting the crops and such, so many songs I love from the 70s, 60s and even 50s (such as "Al-Watan Al-Akbar" [The Great Homeland] from Egypt).

Other MENA artists I'd reccomend are Cem Karaca, aswell as Egyptian national writer (and writer of the Libyan anthem post-Gaddafi, "Ya Beladi") Mohamed Abdel Wahab who wrote the famous pan-Arab unification song Al-Watan Al-Akbar" [The Great Homeland] and Sot Elgamahir (Voice of the Masses).

General Assembly Vote Recommendation

Part of the Information for WA Voters program

Resolution at Vote: Mining Safety Accord
Vote Recommendation: AGAINST

Resolution Analysis
Overview
Mining Safety Accord seeks to standardize basic safety protocols in mining. This includes ensuring communication channels are open between a mine and the outside, requiring ventilation, and requiring toxic substance testing, worker's compensation insurance, and evacuation drills in mining operations. This would be enforced through the World Assembly Workplace Safety Committee (WAWSC)

Recommendation
While there is a World Assembly interest in regulating mining safety, this is not the way to go about it. In clause 2, there are absurd requirements which would, among other things, require open air pit mines to have ventilation, that testing be installed throughout the mine for bleach so long as it's in the bathrooms of the mines, and training for mine workers on how to avoid papercuts while filing paperwork.

Additionally, clause 3a would make this resolution enforceable under penalty of invasion to any dissident states who may find themselves in non-compliance. This is not an acceptable way to enforce safety protocols.

For these reasons, we recommend a vote AGAINST Mining Safety Accord.

The most epic Arab nation by national anthem has to be Iraq, well, Iraq before 2003. "Land of the Two Rivers" is a genuine legendary song.

"Land of the Two Rivers" former national anthem of the Republic of Iraq from 1981 to 2003.

The old jedi empire

Nation Overview

by The old jedi empire

FORMATION: The old jedi order, formed in 24,000 BBY a thousand years after the dawn of the jedi and 50 years before the First Jedi civil war. A group of jedi that was disillusioned with the peaceful nature that the jedi were known for and mercy when fighting Sith decided to relocate to a planet known as Vikedicten. A planet fueled by both the dark and light side, something that would prove useful to the new jedi group who sought balance between the forces.

Vikedicten:Link

24,000BBY-23,990BBY: Ten years of training in the ways of the force, settling into the planet and building a jedi army the small empire was ready for its first conquest on the Sith. The eye of the jedi landed on Korriban the home world of the Sith, someone thing that the jedi order at the time was reluctant to invade which had made the people/ and some jedi mad especially considering the constant invasions by the Sith.

The attack started when the newly formed Jedi Empire gathered a group of 1,000 ships with about 23,000 jedi on each along with some regular blaster wielding soldiers. The first part of the war began as soon as they reached the astrosphere of the planet, soon Sith ships approached the fleet and dog fights began. After about 50 minutes of rugged fighting, they landed on the planet Lead by one Nicholas Thorne the Jedi attacked bases and burned down villages. The war lasted to 23,990BBY to 23, 986BBY after the Sith surrender. A flag with the Empires logo was erected on the Island showing the victory that was fought well.

Korriban:Link

23,950BBY: By the Time 23,950BBY came the empire had expanded its borders taking in new Sith controlled planets and "Liberating them" But this was frown Apon by the Original Jedi republic who had refrained from interfering as they did not need both Sith and Jedi as their enemies. Not to mention that the Jedi army along with their Blaster troops had emersed to about 700,000+ and was in peak shape compared to the Jedi order.

But this all changed when a group of rouge Jedi's attacked the Jedi Empire. Although the Republic was quick to send apologies it had no intention to hand over the rouges. So, after the Jedi war counsel met with the senate, they declared war starting the first and last Jedi Civil war.

Coruscant Offensive: The Empire knew that if it were to be successful in the war it needed to strike at the heart. And that would be Coruscant. The problem was that it hosted the Jedi Republic Major armies not to mention the Republic allies. So With the help of the Hut Cartel and The Pike Syndicates they attacked Coruscant in 23,950BBY. The use of both Dark and Light side force power's quicky through off the Republics Jedi allowing for some easy victories and the Hut cartels space superiority allowing for little supply ships to help the Republic.

The Jedi Temple burning: Finally, 6 Years later The Empire and its allies made it to the temple and burned it. They killed not just the guards, but the men, the women and even the Jedi children. They then erected the Empire's Flag above the temple and claimed coruscant as the property of The Old Jedi Empire.

After That ten more years of fighting would happen before a total victory would occur, Although the Empire won more battles, they lost more manpower and decided to end the war taking worlds and treasuries from the Republic. The Republic would no longer be the dominate superpower in the cosmos no more after the war leaving The Empire and its allies at number 1.

Golden age: 23,950BBY-Current ( 23,899BBY):

The Empire has reached a golden age in our history after the war the empire opened its doors and allowed allies, aliens and even old enemies from the republic in their planets. The Empire is dedicated to integrating all races and peoples to help further grow the empire and allows many freedoms to the people.

The nation is not bothered by most Drug Cartels as the Pike syndicates help regulate that and the rest have been destroyed or pushed into hiding, allowing for many to have an enjoyable time on either planet ruled by The Empire. People are free to marry whomever they want and are allowed to have more than one spouse at a time as long as it is consented too.

The Empire is ruled by the Senate currently a woman named Zora Syendulla and as a check and balances the Jedi also helps rule the Empire. You can find many things to do in the empire like drag racing, pod racing, theaters and history museums on past wars.

Not a problem! If you wish to listen to a song from my homeland, Libya, our national anthem "Allahu Akbar" or "God is Great" is an amazing listen if you liked Al-Watan Al-Akbar.
