I am legally required to hold elections on the first days of March, July and November every year. Jan/May/Sep conflicts with TNP; Feb/Jun/Oct conflicts with TEP; Apr/Aug/Dec means that officials are seated just before the starts of the April Fool minigame, the American school year, and Christmas respectively, already busy periods for many people.

Also, no, it is not against site rules (nor necessarily against Sophia's) to multi-post on RMBs. It became discouraged when RMB post editing was introduced in August 2017, but it doesn't violate the rules until it turns into out-and-out spam, and I defer to Max Barry on this issue.
