My fellow leaders, I come to you today to ask for help. I have vowed to my nation for strong civil rights. I do not want to fail my nation. We have received numerous protests from a nudist group wishing for nudity to be legal. I think of the children in my nation. They do not deserve to see such things. What shall I do in this moment?
Which issue is it? You can look up the results. If you don't want to reduce civil rights, but it's the option you'd take, you can dismiss the issue instead of answering. Or you could choose between boosting civil rights and sticking with your actual opinion.
Also, please consider joining the WA (this requires an email to be attatched to your account) and endorsing President Tinhampton to boost regional security. The election was a great victory for the political coalition, the Industrialists, but the new Consul has announced a great desire for a broader government.

Bongiorno Sophia! I hope you're having a wonderful day. If I may, I would like to present you my project of a Nationstates F1 federation, to which any of you can join, if you want to. Down here is just a preliminary dispatch, explaining how things would (ideally) work.
Do you like Formula 1?
Then you know how's the drill, at least superficially. Teams have two, occasionally three drivers, they have cars, some of which are better than others, and they win points, depending on their standings. Occasionally, there can be accidents, upgrades, seat changes, or F2 drivers making a practice. Very simple, very few details.
Would you like to be a part of that organisation?
Well, I think that's slightly hard. Maybe a new career, a bathtub of money, immense patience and dedication, ten tons of luck and (to help things so smoothly), a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy that knows... But that's okay, because now you can see your nation's best driver become a champion without having to face the real world! And all thanks to NSF1!
Okey, you got me. How does it work?
Okey, first step, create a name for your character. Something like "Goober McGoobface", if that fits with your language. For a Thailandese-inspired nation, let's say "Kla Han Chaiya" is our first racer.
1. First of all, you'll be giving it a number, and an abreviation. let's say our guy is now KHC - 71.
2. Postulate for a seat. You will be randomly be given a score, that can vary throughout the seasons. If there isn't overbooking, the nations will be able to choose what seat would they like to occupy, as the teams themselves can try to convince you to sign for them. If there is overboking, your character will become a F2 driver, waiting for his turn in the max. category.
3. Enjoy! Maybe you'll reach P4 one day, and the following race DNF because of a technical issue. Contracts can't be broken, if you've signed for 3 years with a team, you'll be three years there, no less. Sometimes you'll receive issues, like "The fans are asking for your head because of the few last bad results", in which you'll answer as you wish. All actions come with a reaction, though, and you might get yourself fired if you don't play it good enough...
I don't want to be a racer...
You can manage a team. There is, at least, 9, depending on what the God of F1 (me) says. In this case, the nations who are leading a team can:
1. Change his name (To Lada Sovietic Manufacturers Motorcar Industry Lmtd., if you really want to)
2. Hire drivers, organise FPs with other younger drivers, manage contracts...
3. Make upgrades. It doesn't work with "I want my car to be better >:c" It goes like this:
You've got 5 characteristics, which are ENGINE, TOP SPEED, AERODYNAMICS, GRIP, AND BRAKING/ACCELERATION. The worst each of those are, the most you'll be able to make them better. But remember! You've got limited Upgrades available in one season. These can go fine, and you get a slightly better car, or can go wrong, and you get a moist papaya car.
