What is this madness?!?!

Why are people travelling such less distances, but using such high producing CO2 emissions mode of transport of an airplane even if they only have to go 750 kilometers near Amsterdam from its international airport??? That's insane!!
This distance is the same as from Thailand to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam or from Lyon, France to Amsterdam, Netherlands. 750 kilometers may seem like a lot but we all know that Europe has the best rail network in the entire world and you can basically get anywhere in Europe by train so why use planes? Most trains in Europe are electric so they have minimal environmental impacts and also, for planes, you have to arrive a few hours (like 2-3 hours) before takeoff which in a train, could have gotten you very far and close to your destination.

Around 40% of all Amsterdam Schiphol Airport passengers fly fewer than 750 kilometers according to the Greenpeace website I provided above^
This is absolutely ridiculous according to me and in reality, the EU should have laws where an airport inside the EU cannot have a destination 500 kilometers near it. This will increase the train usage and therefore, the environmental impact will plummet as air traffic is very busy in Europe according to this map:

Thus, I encourage everyone reading this to please use trains if living in Europe as trains are a good and effective way to tackling climate change and saving our environment and they can be safer for you as well. On top of that, it could be faster for you too! I know that in some countries like USA and Australia where there aren't really trains going between cities or they aren't that effective, cars and planes would be the only option and so, that's fine. But in Europe, it is a whole other situation :)

Cell phone microwaves are heating the air, cooking our children into autistic mutants. Vaccines prevent otherwise fatal diseases from culling the sick and weak from the global population. The earth isn't flat, it's bumpy; just try rolling a shopping cart from San Diego to Boston to test that one.

Just keep that shopping cart OFF MY LAWN!

I mean that one side of the toast is buttered. Buttering both sides would be silly.

What do you mean by, "cooking our children into autistic mutants."?

Schlemiel is a Yiddish term meaning "incompetent person" or "fool".

A schlimazel is a very unlucky person. So the schlemiel is the one who spills the soup on the schlimazel.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!

We’re gonna do it!
Give us any chance, we’ll take it.
Give us any rule, we’ll break it.
We’re gonna make our dreams come true.
Doin’ it our way.

Nothin’s gonna turn us back now,
Straight ahead and on the track now.
We’re gonna make our dreams come true,
Doin’ it our way.

There is nothing we won’t try,
Never heard the word impossible.
This time there’s no stopping us.
We’re gonna do it.

On your mark, get set and go now,
Got a dream and we just know now,
We’re gonna make our dream come true.
And we’ll do it our way, yes our way.
Make all our dreams come true,
And do it our way, yes our way,
Make all our dreams come true
For me and you."
