Okay!

I have questions-
I'm a star, a Red Giant. And i cant put myself on the map because I'm a star..
Wait.. But I can send colonists from Dorophane to explore the surface!
If that's allowed..

Not allowed, but you could probably create a nation that has a religion based on the stars.

The Empire of Hanchu and the Eastern Campaign

East of Hanchu lie the three provinces of Yongzhou,Hengzhou, and Shaozhou. The three provinces have an interresting history having been provinces of Baishu Nations like Liu Han under the Shu Dynasty (983AD-1206AD) and Xin Han under the Xin Dynasty (538AD-582AD) , Baiqi nations like Western Qi and Great Song, and provinces of non baiqi or baishu like Yuan (Yuan is considered a non Baiqi nation though theres a great deal of debate about it , as mongolians have been occasionally grouped under Baishu or Baiqi) and the Colonial nation that conquered the three provinces between 1921 and 1925 (the chaos that occured during Hanchu under the Jin Dynasty (1920AD-1934AD) resulted in the destruction of a large number of important documents from that period which is why there are very few native sources about who originally ruled certain areas)
Because of this there has been a great deal of debate about what culture the three provinces belong to, and what the dominant culture is of the area.
According to many followers of the two civilisations theory the three provinces are the most eastern areas of the Baishu Cultures . In the eyes of the supporters of the Great Civilisations theory the three provinces are the most western provinces of the song cultural area . Followers of the core and sphere theory are divided on the three provinces as some believe that they are the sphere areas of several cultures, while others consider them the core area of their own hybrid culture.
Negotiations with the three provinces have been going on for a while and the three provinces have agreed to be completely annexed, The provinces have been annexed.

Cultural theories

The two civilsations theory, or dichotomous culture theory, is the theory that that there are two great cultural groups that dominate what outsiders refer to as China, The Baishu cultures of the west and south west, and the Baiqi cultures of the east and north east, and that in places where both exist one of them dominates the other . to be the eastern edge of Baishu civilisation
The Great cultures theory believes that there are four cultutral areas in China each with its own cultural history the Baishu area in the south west, the Baiqi area in the northwest, the song area in the south east (Considered by many to be the area where baiqi and baishu have intaracted enough that cultures have formed with aspects from both. The reason its called song is because mostly native Song dynasties have existed in both east and west, with Song being an accepted word for what westereners call China, and QiānSong, or Thousand Song being a widely accepted term for the groups in China) , and the Qing cultural area in the north west (The Qing area is where neither Baishu nor Baiqi have much interaction nor dominate the area. The Qing were considered outsiders by Shu, and after they conquered Song Han, Qing became a by word for foreigner or outsider. Ironically Machu are generally viewed as Baiqi. The area is also known as XiBei, or north west).
The Core and Sphere theory states that there are areas in which a culture or greater culture dominates called core areas, and areas in which a culture or greater culture exerts a great deal of influence but doesnt dominate called sphere areas.

As a quick reminder, we are pretty active on Discord for anyone that thinks this region is dead.

The Empire of Hanchu and the Southern Campaign

West of the Ly areas currently owned by Hanchu lie the remaining provinces of Southern Ly, These provinces have a larger Tai population than other provinces in Southern Ly . Tai groups in Southern Ly are called Lan Xang, after Lan Xang (1305AD-1665AD) a heavily Tai Ly state that started as a vassal of Yuan, became an ally of Tsiompa Han in 1336AD, merged with it in 1357AD. and regained its independence in 1445AD. The language spoken by the Lan Xang is Modern Lan Xang , one of the six languages that make up the Ly language Family , and the one closest to the Tai languages, though unlike its ancestor Middle Lan Xang it is written excusively using in a variation of Van Xuan script rather than using a combination of Van Xuan, Khmer, Xin, and Cham scrpts. Van Xuan script is a descendant of the ancesteral script used by the Shu states.untill the 9th century AD when it was overtaken by sword script (which itself was overtaken by the Impirial script of Cao Dynasty Hanchu in the late 18th and early 19th century AD). The area like the rest of southern ly is plurality Buddhist in the north (Most of which are theraveda), Hindu in the south (mostly Shaivite Brahmanism) , and folk religion in the center, with large minorities of Muslims (Mostly Shia with some Ibadi), christians (Mostly Nestorian), and various other faiths spead throughout the area. The negotiations have gone well the provinces have been annexed

The state was a rival of Song Han and considered by many older historians to be the equal of Song Han due to its military and economic power having been on par with and at times exceeded its Rival (more modern Historians however view Song Hans greater stability and the fact that it won six of the eight wars fought between the two states as more important, and as such consider Song Han to be the superior state), with some even considering it the succesor of Shu Han (calling it Southern Xin Han. and calling Song Han, Tsiompa Song) , and a rival of the Khmer Empire .

Revived Ly conquered Trung in the spring of 1664 and Lan Xang in the autumn of that same year, after which its name was changed to Great Ly. The nation reached its maximum extent in 1698 and was able to maintain that untill the European-Ly wars (1767AD-1776AD), surviving as an independent and economically powerfull though somewhat smaller nation untill its conquest by Hanchu under the Cao dynasty in the Ly-Hanchu war (1813-1817).

The Empire of Hanchu and the Southern Campaign

South of southern Ly is a nation called The Union of Cham Principalities. The Union of Cham Principalities consists of five large principalities (though they are in effect kingdoms, but go by principalities due to the fact that during the Cao Dynasty of Hanchu they were ruled by the Kingdom of Cham (Kingdoms are subdivisions of the Empire of Hanchu.) and due to the fact that during their time as colonies they did their best to avoid being seen as threats by not equating themselves to the kings of their colonisers) and numerous smaller ones which are often unofficial parts of the larger Principalities, Every six years the principalities elect a Leader known as the King of Cham in Baishu states, but known as the President or Great Prince in other states due to the Baishu states having a higher regard for the Cham than non Baishu states (The word used is an old word distantly related to king and leader, was intentionally chosen to avoid conflict with their former colonisers, and can be translated as president , king or prince of princes.). The Chams history with Hanchu and the Shu people is long, and complex. Sometimes they ruled eachother, sometimes they were rivals, sometimes they were allies, sometimes they viewed eachother as the ones they aspired to be, but through all those times there was a connection similar to those shared by all Baishu people, its for this reason that the Union has decided to join Hanchu, and for that reason that Hanchu has accepted.

FINNISH BROADCASTING SERVICE

After the Conservative faction’s victory in the Finnish Civil War, the communist regime, which has been in power for nearly 75 years, has been ousted. For the first time since then, a free election has been held, with the former ruling Communist Worker’s Front Party being banned from running. This has resulted in a Plurality victory of the King’s Assembly, which has worried many due to the party’s leadership holding autocratic values. Almost the entirety of the Finnish Assembly supports a constitutional monarchy, but with other pro-absolutist parties in the Assembly, it might be more than that. Today, the King, Rami I, has announced the formation of the Finnish Imperial State, but has assured the people that this does not exclude the democratic process from the realm. The future of Finland is an uncertain one, and the whole nation watches for what’s to come.

Socialism With German Characteristics

The East German Government has always been a loyal follower of Marxist-Leninist Doctrine ever since the Soviet Invasion and installation of a Stalinist Regime in the nation. The Premier Erich Honecker has led the iron through thick and thin with an iron fist and the secret police called the Stasi. The Stasi have managed to keep ahold of Ponzan and have stemmed Polish immigration by setting up border barricades and keeping the German Socialist State safe from subversion by those who may come to destroy the Last Bastion of Communism. What shall happen to the German Democratic Republic and its people and what of its future? We shall see.

Rise of organization in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia remained a barren land of fractured states, until today. When military leaders, figureheads, writers, poets, Immah, all met in Riyadh in an attempt at peace. Ideas flew around the floor of this "parliament" with suggestions of different types of government. Eventually, a group known as the Arabian League for Unity (ALU) began to prevail advocating for a small federal government to start allowing for differing regions of the country to integrate at their own speeds, when asked about religion a man names Lawrence Abadi, a high ranking member of the group spoke up "The government shall officially endorse Islam, however, we shall not halt other religions from being practiced." This caused mixed reactions among the assembly. Some hardliners believed it didn't go far enough with people such as general Aalam Muloof saying "We shall not allow false religions to be practiced in this government!" Whilst representatives of religious minorities such as William Abelson (who represents the Jewish minority of Tabuk) spoke out in support of this ideal, in the end, those in support of this government outnumbered those who oppose, hence a vote was held solidifying the new government. Rather than accept government rule several stormed out denouncing the new nation and what it stood for. As provinces around the new Arabian government began to raise the new flag the provinces of Asir and Jizan refused to acknowledge the government. The new temporary leader Lawrence Abadi commented on the situation, "We shall allow them to do as they wish, for now. The state of Arabia still lay claim to these lands, we will be stationing the 1st federal divisions in Makkah and Najran in an effort to secure the surrounding areas." Elections will be held soon to define a parliament and prime minister.

Introducing conscription:
Due to the rising threat in the south, the Federal Government of Arabia declared they would need 50,000 volunteers to man the borders. After the expected number of men failed to appear new head of the army General Hitch Vheeler requested the government begin conscription. When Parliament Leader Abadi heard the request he enacted emergency conscription calling the provinces of Jizan and Asir “rebellious states”. This motion was met with protests in Riya and opposition from Parliament notably from William Abelson stating “My people will not fight under the Cresent Star, such a thing is outrageous!” however the move had its supporters, such as Heckler Safar governor of the Eastern Provinces stating quote “These states are a threat to our new government, we shall not allow for them to keep existing in the state they are, it is clear they mean to undermine our nation. I will send forth my men to serve the new government, not as a requirement, but as an act of patriotism.” The military preparation has not been lost upon the rebellious states, reports of military preparation continue to flow in from civilians loyal to the Parliament.

Formation of the Parliamentary Armed Forces.

A line of cars crosses the border between Assir and Narjan, the planned federal force of 25,000 doesn’t yet exist to stop them. The only border defense of the area is local Narjan forces with federal sentry’s, from a distance they watch as the caravan drive down the road. “Hold, we’re doing this my way” a local commander barked at a group of federal troops. He stair out at the road. “Three… two... “ He pushes down on a detonator, on the road a cloud of dust, fire, ash, and metal flies into the air. His bomb had not only destroyed the road but caught a car in the blast. He reached for another button, pushing it destroyed the road behind the cars as well. “Now everyone! Charge!” Men yelled as they ran over the hill and towards the now trapped caravan. Federal soldiers equipped with more long-range weaponry attempted to take shots at the men from afar however a mixture of dust and smoke clouded ant vision they could’ve had. The group of charging men eventually made their way within range of the caravan firing upon it blindingly hoping to hit something, a hail of bullets answered striking several down. “Continue forward!” an officer yelled and so the men did, pushing past any threats. Once they arrived the situation developed into a frantic melee of rifle butt and bayonet. Eventually, the Asir forces surrender, leaving the skirmish as a Parliamentary victory.

In response to this Parliament Leader, Lawrence Abadi called upon every governor to donate their men and supplies to the war effort. “We will make a host of new flags to accommodate those who do not follow Islam, these flags will be military only and are not to be used as a replacement to the current. Conscription will be heightened, I expect a force of 25,000 from every province.” During this speech to parliament, the forces from the Eastern Province arrived in Riyadh where they began the process of federalization donning new uniforms, new emblems, and new ranks. The federal military now had teeth.

The Great Reclamation War

The German Democratic Republic after the refusal of the Ultimatum to return rightful German land. The German Premier has roused the German Populace to a new Nationalistic fervor to retake the homes of those who were kicked out of German land by the Poles. The Germans shall retake our homeland from the Polish Menace. The Germans have called upon half of the reserves to join in the march to Warsaw. The German Democratic Republic shall waive a Red Banner over Poland. The Red Dawn commences!

March To The Vistula!

The German Army has marched across the undefended Polish border after intel of the Army being in the Lithuanian half of the Empire. The German Army Group 1 has been given the task of taking Danzig and Konigsburg. Army Group 2 which is in Ponzan has been given the task of pushing to Warsaw. The 3rd Army Group has been given the task of taking Krakow and burning their unholy city to the ground and attempt to capture the Tsarina. The Tsarina has oppressed the Workers for far too long. The symbol of Capitalist Oppression shall burn. The German Democratic Republic has invited Portugal and the Great Polar Empire to invade the Polish with them.

The Burning of Krakow

The German 3rd Army Group has arrived at Krakow which was a short way from the border where the German Army is marching on. The city of Krakow lies there undefended. Ripe for the taking. The Symbol of the Tsarina's power. Her Palace shall be razed along with the damnable city. The German Army Group 3 prepares and marches on the city running into only Royal Guards and Police forces which weren't a match to the German APCs and well-trained troops. The Germans evacuate any Poles from the building being burnt and celebrate as the Red Banner is waved over Krakow as the Palace is burning. The Tsarina was nowhere to be found. Perhaps not in the city.

The Empire of Hanchu and the Eastern Campaign

South east of Hanchu lies the Republic of Hong Hong. The republic of Hong Kong is a relatively new state having been been founded after the collapse of the Kingdom of Canton in 1982.
