Prison Break!

The infamous and cold blooded crime-lord Ermilo Di Sandro has escaped from prison. A guard had let him out, as far as we know at the moment. The prison guard has been arrested and the authorities are once again, on the hunt.

Di Sandro is a very dangerous man, known to actively use violence as a method to get what he wants.

The rise of Argenmerica
After the fall of President Perón in 1955, a dictatorship self-named as "Revolución Libertadora" took power in the Argentine Republic. To confront it, a popular resistance movement was created and the dictatorship had to cede power to civilians, but they continued to outlaw Peronism, fracturing the country in two rival sides.
The constant oligarchic coups d'etat supported by foreign powers led to the inevitable civil wars, revolutions and counterrevolutions in South America, which led to political fragmentation and the predominance of local caudillos and other warlords. One of these caudillos was the Uruguayan José Mujica, a former guerrilla with the Tupamaros, who was imprisoned by the Uruguayan dictatorship since 1973, but was released in 1979 after the collapse of the Uruguayan state before insurgencies and foreign forces. In 1982, the forces of the Argentine Littoral managed to annex Uruguay after the fall of the dictatorship and established the People's Republic of Argenmerica, with its capital in Montevideo.

The Republic of Chaco adheres to the PRA
The Provisional President and Governor of the Republic of Entre Ríos Jordán Ibarra had a meeting with Florencio Tenev, Governor of Chaco, in the City of Resistencia back in September. In it, different topics such as economic cooperation and trade were debated, since Chaco is strongly linked with the Province of Corrientes. The Chaco Justicialist leader received Ibarra's proposal to join the PRA and thus leave the North Argentine League, also known as LiNOA (in English: North Argentine League - NAL), made up of the provinces of Formosa, Chaco, Santiago del Estero, Jujuy, Salta, Catamarca and Tucumán. Tenev sent the proposal to the Chaco Legislature to decide what to do and in the last October debate the majority voted to join the PRA.

Referendum in Santiago del Estero
The government of the Añatuya Department, belonging to Santiago del Estero, joined the PRA by referendum, while the rest of the Province continues the vote count.

Mid October - November 5, 1982
Two-thirds of Santa Fe for the PRA
The Province of Santa Fe, made up of the departments of Santa Fe, Reconquista and Rosario, was disputed territory during the civil wars due to its geographical position and economic importance. This seriously impaired its development and in 1980-1981 it was especially disputed by the governments of the PRA and Buenos Aires. The Province, officially neutral and fragmented, lost Rosario to the Buenos Aires forces advancing north, but the local militias adhering to the PRA gained popular support and the Entre Ríos forces managed to stop the Buenos Aires advance with the help of the local militia. José María Vernet was elected as governor, although Rosario remained occupied.
