AX - Altaic Axis; the official military force of Altay, founded by Altaic axis.

citizen - a player who's nation(s) reside in Altay. If one player has more than one nation in Altay, all of those nations count as one citizen.

CPA - Communist Party of Altay; Altay's 4th political party, founded on 26th November 2020 by Stalingrad empire.

CPJA - Chairman of the People's judicial assembly; who isn't a judge but conducts a trial and announces the verdict.

CRPN - Central Region Of Puppet Nations; the official region for storing Altay's citizens' puppet nations, founded by Object 5.

EBISh - Елэмəт бұро информацягат я щтатиштикагат /jelemæt byro informatsjaɣat ja ʃtatistiqaɣat/, the State office of information and statistics; Eastern Tatar secret service.

emigration crysis - occurs whenever Altay looses a signifficant number of citizens. There where total of 3 emigration crysis, all between January and June 2019.

GS - General secretary; the closest thing Altay has to a prime minister. In the old system, the GS was the Founder's deputy.

Highest government - a term used when reffering to the officers allowed to write constitutional legislation (except the Secretary of the Regional committee), that means the Founder, the General secretary and the People's secretary.
This term is nowadays obsolete, mainly because the contemporary Regional government works differently to what it used to be.

JPFEM - Joint Popular Front for the Enforcement of Marijuana Consumption; Altay's second political party, established in January 2019 by -manchukuo who is its only member. The party still exists as it was never officially dissolved.

Merge - often referred to as the Merge; was the annexation of Altay by Driselbia, proposed by Qandaristania. However, Leader Eastern Tatarstan didn't want to give up Altay's ultimate sovereignty and the Merge never took place.

MO - Merited official; temporary honorable office appointed to a nation based on merit, more precisely outstanding service to Altay through practicing a certain craft. E. g. Regional merited vexillographer is Altay's master of vexillography, the official and absolute best flag maker in the whole Altay.

MS - Ministery secretary; a fancy name for minister.

NSA - North Sachalin's alliance; Altay's first political party, established by North sachalin in January 2019. It had 4 members: Entimide, North sachalin, Ulaanstan and Western tatarstan. One member would be chosen for a finite amount of time and all other members would have to vote the same as the chosen nation in every poll. NSA existed for less than a month before being dissolved by North sachalin.

North Sachalin & Co. - a set phrase that originated as a means of reffering to North sachalin plus its puppet nations. This term can be used when reffering to any main nation and its puppets by adding the "& Co." behind the main nation's name. Even though North sachalin has fallen behind as Yanab became the de facto main nation, the term North Sachalin & Co. remains unchanged.

old system - the system of Regional government prior to its overhaul in July 2019.

People's bloc - Altay's third political party and first secret political party. It was established in secrecy by North sachalin, with known members being Entimide, North sachalin and Yanab. The working principle was the same as in the NSA and it was later found that the People's bloc rigged the May 2019 elections as well as the voting on Regional legislation §3n. The party was revealed and then officially dissolved by North sachalin in March 2019. It was later officially reestablished by Yanab, with Yanab and its puppet nations being the members. It was dissolved by Yanab on 17th July 2019.

PJA - People's judicial assembly; Altay's jury, with all citizens being the members.

PNA - (citizen's) puppet nation in Altay; if a player's main nation and puppet nation both reside in Altay, the main nation is the citizen and the puppet nation is the citizen's PNA. This term has fallen out of use in common speech since shared citizenship was established and nowadays it remains only in the Regional legislation.

PS - People's secretary; a fancy name for a member of parliament. Together with the GS they make up the Secretariate, the parliament of Altay. In the old system, the PS was something like the minister of internal affairs with executive power (not the NS version of executive power). The PS also used to be the GS's deputy.

RCM - Regional committee member; a fancy name for a member of parliament. RCMs made up the parliament (the Regional committee) in the old government system.

Revitalisation effort - not so successfull attempt by Eastern Tatarstan to boost Altay's population after the Emigration crysis of January 2019.

s/he - compacted version of "he or she", used mainly in the Regional legislation of Altay.

SRC - Secretary of regional committee; kind of the prime minister in the old system. Something like today's GS but with fewer authorities.

WAD - World assembly delegate.

2. The ammount of embassies shall not exceed 75, not including the embassies with Altay's Colonies and Protected regions.

a) An embassy is perceived primarily as a means of easy communication between two regions regardless of interregional relations. Therefore, prohibition of embassy posting may be a great limiting factor in the process of establishing an embassy

b) By opening an embassy in Altay, a region automatically subscribes to Altay's propaganda broadcasted during Altaic state holidays and other important occasions and milestones. The embassy region's competent officers are free to adjust the details of their region's subscription, or fully end it, via Altay's RMB or via a TG to Leader Eastern Tatarstan.

4.
a) Any region seeking to establish an embassy in Altay is entitled to a R/D non-aggression pact between it and Altay. To establish the pact, an agreement has to be made between the embassy region and Altay either via Altay's RMB or via a TG to Leader Eastern Tatarstan.

b) The agreement lasts even after the embassy is abolished and has to be revoked by one of the sides either via Altay's RMB or via a TG to Leader Eastern Tatarstan.

c) Those non-agression pacts obtained prior to the 25th of July 2021, which have not been rendered invalid by that date, remain unaffected except for clause 4, letter b of this paragraph.

5.
a) An embassy may be closed only by the competent officers of the embassy region or by Leader Eastern Tatarstan.

b) Altay may close its embassies only to maintain the embassy cap or during states of emergency declared by the RGA or by Leader Eastern Tatarstan.

c) When maintaining the embassy cap, embassies with regions which do not have a non-agression pact with Altay and/or prohibit embassy posting and/or have had little to none diplomatic/casual engagement with Altay are to be abolished primarily.

d) Such an embassy may be spared if deemed important enough by either the RGA or by Leader Eastern Tatarstan.
