Please enjoy this new wall-of-text on the Dizgovzian Party Leader Elections and current election polling! This election looks to be pretty wacky and the chance of an interim government (read: drama) seems high.

2025 Dizgovzian Party Leadership Elections and Election Polling
Hlazbaúrg, Dizgovzy

Party leadership elections have been held in the Dizgovzian parliament, as campaigning season begins to reach its climax. The Dizgovzian Centrist Party, who currently hold the Prime Ministership with outgoing Alex Tashenov as the minority partner in a coalition with the Social Democratic Party, have made some legislative successes. They successfully increased the military and housing budgets, but have had little success on building new nuclear power plants and passing their bill expanding LGBT rights. Critically, it seems this election will require a government to include the DCP, as polls indicate that neither the SDP nor the Catholic Union of Dizgovzy will gain an outright parliament majority. Furthermore, the DCP has pledged to outright refuse a coalition with any party that will not pass legislation increasing LGBT rights. Both the SDP and the CUD have maintained as parties that they will not support such a bill, believing the current legislation to be sufficient, and that any expansion would be unnecessary and detrimental by riling up the "culture war," potentially influencing voters to the pro-Putin far-right For a Better Future! party. However, the SPD allows individual members to support the DCP's current bill, as does the CUD, although few members have expressed support. Thus, it seems that a majority government can only form if either the SDP or CUD allows the passing of DCP bills, which seems more likely with the SDP. Green Dizgovzy, a small party currently projected to lose all three of their seats, will likely coalition with the SDP. The Dizgovzian Jewish Party and libertarian Freedom Party will likely coalition with the DCP, and the CUD if the DCP forms a majority government with the SDP. The For a Better Future! party will likely only win a few seats and will not be accepted into any coalition.

As such, the possibility of Dizgovzy forming an interim government seems more and more likely by the day as none of the three parties seem likely to budge. Per the Dizgovzian Constitution of 1992, should no majority government form, if the offices of the Prime Minister and Deputy Minister are both vacant, or if a Prime Minister cannot be elected within one week of the election or a vacancy, an Interim Prime Minister must be elected within one day to maintain the necessary functions of state until a majority coalition forms, the Interim Prime Minster is elected Prime Minister, or another election is called. This has happened once in Dizgovzian history, with María Grekolíjuz of the DCP serving as Interim Prime Minister in 2006 before her election as Prime Minister two weeks later. The Interim Prime Minister has limited powers in peacetime (full when the country is in a State of War), and must appoint a co-minister from each party that has enough parliamentary members to fill all ministerial roles. As such, were this election to result in an Interim Prime Minister, it is most likely that there would be 21 co-ministers of the seven departments, each of which would have three co-ministers. During a peacetime Interim Government, legislation may only pass if it has the support of the co-ministers of its affected department and has been deemed as legislation "necessary for government operations" by a parliament vote of 60/100.

Should an Interim Prime Minister be required, it is unknown who would likely fill that role. Leadership elections for the parties currently in Parliament were concluded today, and those persons are usually the only Prime Ministerial candidates, although future updates shall be given if such candidates change within the next few weeks.

So this is the premise of the Big Nardin cult… what about Yahlianism?

Yahlianism and Big Nardin are the same. And how can this be a cult when it is totally factual? Big Nardin controls everything, and it will for all time. This is the final form of Europe, and NationStates as a whole. Finis, das Ende. It is all over, Big Nardin has won.
