Well, it will not be as fun or interesting as the one by Marquette, but still...here's my fun fact about NT legal system.

Tarajani legal system is State-based, with the federal level only coming into play in very specific circumstances (think of it as US-like system, but where States enjoy even more legal autonomy). Of course, there is a common framework and shared background, that could be easily summarized in one, catchy, phrase: DON'T TOUCH THE LANDSRAAD.

Members of the Major Houses enjoy full legal immunity, and can be prosecuted only if the Landsraad agrees to that AND BY the Landsraad itself, through the Landsraad Court of Justice (basically, selected members of the assembly assuming the role of judges). Defendants' attorneys are provided for by their own State or, if they wish so, they can ask for an attorney of their preference; the prosecution is led by a Lord Prosecutor, a member of either a Minor or a Major House that has extensive expertise in judicial matters (usually, it must serve at least ten years as judge and/or attorney), and that currently serves in the Federal Justice System. The Lord Prosecutor is sometimes coadiuvated by a Royal Attorney, a member (not necessarily of noble origin) of the Federal Attorney Office.

In the UKZ's criminal justice system, criminals courts in every presidency is different. Some have juries, while some don't.

If a criminal case proceeds from presidency level sessions/high courts to the supreme court, then the supreme court will organise a jury or not depending on which presidency the case originated from.

In the criminal justice system, sexually-based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit.

These are their stories.

*BUM BUM*

Updated my lower of house parliament numbers, not much has changed but the Zack People's Party has lost all 11 seats in parliament with its members defecting and joining the Indian People's Party and the parliament losing 18 seats with Ceylon starting the process of leaving the UKZ.

With retail season really coming to a nice slow roll, I think I'm gonna start updating more.

I'll post a cute election result tonight!

**[CONFEDERATION SENATE ELECTION RESULTS]**

The centrist Union-Liberal Party spearheaded by former Christian-Democrat Senator Emiliano Cantro, son of the former Minister of Transportation Castillo Cantro, has successfully planted itself firmly into the Arveyran government, greatly diminishing the long-held power of the Green Party. The far-right Cordoban party, the Legalist Party, which advocates for full Cordoban independence has also increased its representation in the Senate up to 28, including 3 Senators in Almarino, which was never historically located within the former independent Cordua.

[374 SEATS, 188 NEEDED FOR MAJORITY]

**Union-Liberal Party (PUL) - 78 [+22]**
*Green Party (PV) - 73 [-15]
*Christian-Democrat Party (PDX) - 59 [-6]
*Loyalist Party (PF) - 56 [-17]
*Conservative Party (PC) - 51 [+5]
*Socialist Party (PS) - 29 [+3]
*Legalist Party of Cordoba (PLC) - 28 [+8]

The combined 32 seat loss of the Green and Loyalist parties represents the largest loss of the two parties in their history as mainstream parties. The incoming Senate leader Cantro is expected to form a coalition government with the Christian-Democrats and Conservatives, giving them an extremely thin one seat majority at 188 seats.

Sorry for my absence/inactivity guys. School + work have been really stressful and I've been really anxious with stuff in my city surrounding the trial of Derek Chauvin. Not sure if I will be able to respond to the news any time soon. Please don't invade me :(
