I can't say why it was inactive for 199 days, but I can say what I thought of this region.
First: I am surprised by the number of members in this region. If I am not mistaken, there were around 150-200 members in my time. But I did not expect there to be 500 MEMBERS!
Second: Something happened to my website and I could not access it anymore, but the connection was restored today.

After half a century (or millennium) of inactivity, I'm finally back at NationStates. I'm surprised by the changes that have occurred along the way. And the changes that have remained, of course, are few but there have been. I didn't want to, but I'm kind of going to have to relearn everything about NationStates without the translator. For me it seems like a challenge, but it's also a hope.
