Presidential Standing Period Opens

(Europeia, April 18, 2016) - Supreme Chancellor HEM opened standing for Europeia's Presidential election on April 12, 2016, in a speech from Palatium Manor. Polls will open April 22, 2016.

"The cornerstone, the true mainstay of Europeia region is in our people," HEM said in his speech. "The people who take the time they could be spending on a myriad of other leisure activities and invest it here."

In order to be eligible for the ballot, candidates must have been citizens at the time the election was called, and must declare their candidacy to the Oval Room prior to the end of the standing period. Candidates must submit their running mate and any political party affiliation.

At the time of publication, four tickets had stood: Kaboom/GraVandius; Calvin Coolidge/Malashaan; Common-Sense Politics/Aexnidaral Seymour; Kazaman/HEM: and Netz/Rachel.

Europeia invites citizens from other regions to apply for a "View Only" mask to witness the most political event in Europeia.
