Lemuerian Armed Forces
Foundation: 1715
Head of the Armed Wing: Jinyon Turnonius (2012-)
Personnel: 1,569,000 (1,522,000 excluding paramilitary)
The Lord-Emperor's Armed Forces (LEAF) also known as the Royal Lemuerian Forces (RLF) are the armed forces of the United Socialist States of Lemueria.
While in theory lead by the Lord-Emperor Velkintote II, they are practically delegated to the Head of the Armed Wing often just called the Head. LEAF is made up of four branches: Lord-Emperor's Army (LEA), Lord-Emperor's Navy (LEN), Lord-Emperor's Aerial Divisions (LEAD), and Lord-Emperor's Technical Divisions (LETD). LEAF was established in 1715 as per the Treaty of the Unionstates to combine the Lemuerian Imperial Forces (LEF) and the Volkonian Armed Forces (VAF), LEAD was added in 1950 and LETD to manage the nuclear stockpile of Lemueria in 2002.
The forces in total have 1,569,000 million members, with 750,000 of them in LEA, 500,000 in LEN, 272,000 in LEAD, and 47,000 in LETD. Though LETD is excluded sometimes as "paramilitary". They are split into 17 corps (6 in LEA & LEN, 4 in LEAD and 1 in LETD), with each corp assigned a Corporal Administrator (not necessarily the leader of the corp, that varies by branch), all the Corporal Administrators are part of the Armed Wing of the Council-Assembly and meet bi-annually with the head in corporal reports.
Lord-Emperor's Army
The army is the biggest branch of LEAF, due to the very isolationist approach of Lemueria making them to mostly fight within Tyhorria with only some exceptions until recently. The army is lead by the General Lieutenant (often abbreviated as General), the title comes from the meaning of lieutenant as a "deputy or substitute for a superior", which in this context means that the General is a substitute for the Head. The army is made up of 6 corps, each lead by Lieutenant Generals, each corp controls ≈100K soldiers, corps are further broken down into divisions (27k), regiments (6.7k), and brigades (1.6k), these are the only divisions that could realistically be send out on their own. Brigades are often specialized, into scout and encirclement brigades. Divisions are broken down into statuses of independence, for example independent, semi-dependent, and dependent.
The service rifle for the army is the K-20, a .5.45×39mm assault rifle, which is similar to the AK-12 but fixes defects and is specially designed for the Lemuerian military. Sniper rifles are also used, most prominently, the Döbyëët-S30, a .30 caliber bolt-action sniper rifle, but it is available with customization, ranging from Döbyëët-S20 to Döbyëët-S50, though the latter model is barely used in the modern day. Main battle tanks include the Leopard-90, Leopard-95, and Cougar-95, they are all third-generation with the exception of the Cougar-95 which is fourth (the Lemuerian army considers all tanks made since 2000 to be fourth generation), they use the 125 mm KA-1 or KA-2 smoothbore main gun, KMFCS (K-Modern Fire Control System), thermal sight and NBC protection. They weigh from 41 to 65 tonnes, mainly because the army prefers mixed mobility and firepower.
Here are a list of divisions and specialized brigades sorted by independent, semi-dependent, and dependent.
