Contrary to popular belief, the population of The Empire of The Platypuses is made up entirely of platypuses. Because Platypuses are not humans, they feel no need to cover their shame. However, they still like to wear accessories. Platypuses will typically don tall top hats on their heads and have fanny packs along their waists. Glasses are rare in the Platypuses; wearing two monocles at once is much more common. On formal occasions, the height of an individual Platypus determines what kind of dress is appropriate. Platypuses shorter than 15 inches when standing on their hind legs are expected to wear 18th century British attire. Platypuses taller than 15 inches when standing on their hind legs cut holes in their sheets and make ghost costumes. Platypuses who are exactly 15 inches tall are left out of formal occasions because they complicate things.
