MP's Block Military Leadership Nomination
In a move that has led a confrontational discussions on the forum, members of the STAG Party (Statesmen Targeting Advancement & Growth) blocked the nomination for the next head of the region's military forces, despite that nomination coming from the Prime Minister, another STAG member.

In addressing the vote, STAG members stated that they are working to reform the military as it currently stands and so it would not have made sense to approve the nomination from the Prime Minister. Perhaps this was not relayed clearly to the Prime Minister, and some citizens questioned the look of party members in leadership positions apparently not knowing what each other were planning to do. MP's from the UNC Party (United National Coalition) and Sinn Fein supported the nomination.

Prince of Wales Steps Down, Rejoins Politics
John Alexander, a long time member of the region known for his involvement in every level of politics in the region, has been missed from the political sphere these last few months while serving as the Interim Prince of Wales. This week, however, the King announced that John would be stepping down from that role in part due to his desire to return to regional politics, and while the entire region expressed their gratitude in John serving in the interim role for an extended period of time, not everyone was perhaps as happy to see such an experienced regional politician return to the landscape. Mr. Alexander immediately re-joined his former political party, Sinn Fein, and is accepted a role in the regional government as the Home Secretary. We wish him the best!
